Hi Aliyah, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My name is Aliyah Ambrose. I am a 27-year-old serial entrepreneur. I currently own a skincare line by the name of “COCOBEAUTYLLC”; I offer skincare services in the Houston Tx area. I am a full-time make-up/ bridal artist. I am currently rebranding my home fragrance line “COCOSIMPLICITYLLC” and working on several additional business ventures for 2025. Being born and raised in Baltimore MD installs a different type of hustle in you, you either create a life for yourself or become a product of your environment and my goal in life was to be successful and to make my parents proud, but most importantly make myself proud. I’ve overcame a lot in my life and never wanted to use my struggles as excuses but to fuel the reason for me to keep going.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Nothing in my life stayed smooth, even when I felt like things were going well something would pop up and test my character. But anything worth having requires work and faith and with having both you can accomplish anything.
