Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My story begins in 2001 when I graduated high school and was in a head on collision that shifted my future and ultimately impacted who I would become. After several career moves from cosmetology, massage therapy, onto college to pursue my Doctorate in Chiropractic. I worked as a chiropractic assistant which is how I got started in the field and fell in LOVE with power our body has to heal and operate. After graduating, I returned home to offer a lifestyle of natural healing utilizing my past and love for massage therapy.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Absolutely not. My biggest struggle in the beginning was juggling motherhood while building a practice and learning that I wasn’t going to fit the mode. Designing a practice that isn’t your typical office, yet giving patients the best care.
As you know, we’re big fans of ABC Family Chiropractic. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I am a Chiropractor with a background in massage therapy. My passion and drive is always learning and having a diverse knowledge to help the youngest patient from a few days old, to the oldest patient looking to still work in the garden or play the organ at church.
My car accident gives me compassion and desire to help without the use of prescription drugs or surgery.
I want the readers to know a little more about me and that not all chiropractors are the same and not all adjustments are the same.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I believe the chiropractic filed is growing by leaps and bounds in the future as so many are looking for alternative health care options and seeking a healthier preventative lifestyle.
