Hi Bianca, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
For many years, I worked as a Sales Director for Latin America and absolutely loved my career. Everything changed when my son was diagnosed with leukemia. Between hospital stays and years of treatment, I realized I needed a career that would allow me to be present for my family.
After leaving the corporate world, I decided to take a leap of faith and build something of my own. I’ve always loved creating beautiful celebrations, and that’s how Princess & Tiaras was born.
What started as a simple idea has grown into Houston’s original mobile spa party bus. Over the past 12 years, I’ve had the privilege of celebrating thousands of birthdays and watching little girls light up when they step onto the bus. Those smiles remind me why I started this journey in the first place.
Looking back, one of the most difficult seasons of my life became the beginning of something I never imagined. Today, I’m incredibly grateful that I get to do work I truly love while creating unforgettable memories for families.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Building a business has definitely come with its share of challenges. Like many small businesses, we’ve faced economic ups and downs and unexpected events, such as Hurricane Harvey, that affected our community.
One of our biggest challenges was COVID. We had to completely rethink how we operated, reduce capacity, follow strict safety protocols, and navigate a lot of uncertainty. But it also reminded us how important celebrations are. Families were looking for safe ways to create joyful memories, and we were grateful to be part of that.
More recently, we’ve seen increased competition, including businesses offering very similar concepts. While that hasn’t always been easy, it has motivated us to continue raising the bar. I truly believe that exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and the relationships we’ve built over the past 12 years are what set us apart. The loyalty of our families and the incredible reviews they’ve shared continue to remind me that authenticity and quality always make a difference.

Princess & Tiaras is Houston’s original mobile spa party bus, created to bring a unique, stress-free celebration directly to families. We specialize in luxury spa parties for children, complete with mini manicures, light makeup, dress-up, music, a fashion show, and plenty of picture-perfect moments.
What makes us different isn’t just the bus, it’s the experience. Every detail is thoughtfully planned so that every child feels celebrated, confident, and truly special. We believe birthdays should be magical, not stressful, so our goal is to make the day just as enjoyable for parents as it is for the kids.
Over the past 12 years, we’ve had the privilege of celebrating thousands of birthdays, and one of the things I’m most proud of is the trust families continue to place in us. Many of our clients come back year after year, recommend us to their friends, and even celebrate with younger siblings. That loyalty means everything to me because it tells me we’re creating memories that truly last.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I’ve definitely taken some big risks over the years, but the biggest one was leaving my corporate career to start a business from scratch.
I came to the United States looking for a better future for my family. As a Latina building a business in a new country, I knew I would have to work hard to earn people’s trust and build my reputation. Starting over in a completely different industry wasn’t easy, but I was determined to make it work.
Another big risk was creating something that simply didn’t exist in Houston at the time. There wasn’t a mobile spa party bus like ours, so there was no roadmap. I had to learn everything, from how to operate the truck and navigate insurance requirements to creating an experience that was safe, fun, and unforgettable for children.
Every time we’ve grown, it’s meant making another big decision, whether it was expanding our service area or investing in a new truck.
Looking back, I wouldn’t change a thing. If I had waited until everything felt safe or perfect, Princess & Tiaras would never have become what it is today.
