I grew up in Florida with a deep love for magic, dreams, and storytelling—elements that have shaped both my childhood and the lives of so many others. From an early age, I was drawn to performing, though I wasn’t sure which path I wanted to take. I first pursued singing, then discovered a passion for acting, and eventually fell in love with dance. As sharpened my skills, I realized that performing as a whole was my true calling.
In high school, I auditioned for the Fine Arts Center, a prestigious performing arts school, and was honored to receive a scholarship to attend. My time there was life-changing, solidifying my desire to build a career centered around performance. However, as graduation approached, I knew I needed to determine how to turn my passion into a sustainable career.
After much reflection, I found my answer. Upon moving to Texas, I founded Happily Ever After Awaits, a children’s entertainment company specializing in princess-themed parties. My goal was to bring the same magic that shaped my own childhood to life for others. Over the past four years, this journey has been filled with both triumphs and challenges, particularly as a POC performer in the industry. However, at the heart of it all, I have remained dedicated to creating joy, wonder, and unforgettable experiences for children and families.
Through Happily Ever After Awaits, I continue to share the magic of storytelling and performance, proving that dreams—no matter the obstacles—are always worth pursuing.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but every challenge has helped shape me and my business into what it is today.
One of the biggest struggles has been navigating the business side of things. When I started Happily Ever After Awaits, I was passionate about performing and bringing magic to children, but I had to learn how to manage bookings, marketing, budgeting, and customer relations—all while maintaining the creative vision of my company. Building a brand from the ground up takes patience and resilience, especially in an industry where visibility and reputation are everything.
Another challenge has been establishing myself as a POC (person of color) performer in a field where traditional standards of representation can sometimes be limiting. Many of us grow up feeling like we don’t fit conventional beauty standards, and in the world of princess entertainment, that feeling can be even more pronounced. I’ve faced moments of doubt, wondering if I would be fully accepted in a space where people often have a narrow view of what a princess should look like.
But over time, I’ve realized that true beauty isn’t about fitting a mold—it’s about the confidence, kindness, and magic you bring to the world. When children see a princess who looks like them, or even just feel the warmth and authenticity I bring to my characters, it reminds me why representation matters. It’s not about looking a certain way—it’s about making people believe in magic, dreams, and the power of being themselves. That’s why I’m so passionate about what I do. I want every child to know that they are worthy of a fairytale, no matter what they look like.
There have also been logistical hurdles, from handling event coordination to dealing with last-minute cancellations or costume malfunctions. Every challenge has been a learning experience, pushing me to grow as both a performer and a business owner.
Despite the struggles, I wouldn’t trade this journey for anything. I’ve been able to bring dreams to life, create unforgettable memories, and prove that magic is for everyone.

One of the things I’m most proud of is the impact we’ve made in the community. We’ve been able to bring dreams to life, not just through parties but through large-scale events like our Fairytale Princess Ball and our recent Galentine’s Day Tea Party.

The most important quality behind my success is passion—for performing, storytelling, and creating magical experiences. That passion, combined with resilience, has helped me overcome challenges, especially as a POC performer in an industry that hasn’t always embraced diversity.
