Today we’d like to introduce you to Boris Acevedo.
Hi Boris, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I was born in Queens, NY. I lived there for 8 years until I moved to Elizabeth NJ. My family and I had a rough life. We were very poor and lived in the rough areas of Elizabeth. Throughout the years of my youth, I was a witness to and at times part of many different crimes and violent situations. I serum to my environment like many others in Elizabeth and lived a life that could have landed me in jail for some time. I honestly thought I would either end up in jail or dead. It took some serious situations that by the grace of God I was able to get out of by the skin of my teeth. I decided in 2002 I needed to change my life before it was too late.
I started on a path to learn more about life and myself. I started reading books like ” Think and grow rich” and Rich dad poor dad” to name a few. Listening to people like Les Brown, Grant Cardone, Gary Vaynerchuck and Tai Lopez have greatly changed my life in many ways. I learned how to provide a solution to problems others were having in the marketing and social media world. Little by little I learned about the black market side of social media followed by the organic methods people use today. Learning how to use algorithms and automation to maximize your reach is a huge advantage in the digital world.
Forward to today, I own my own company KB Media. I also host my own Podcast “The KB Experiment Podcast.”
I am fortunate now to have others payment to teach them and their partners how to grow and scale their social media platforms to maximize and monetize their brands. I have been blessed to work with and continue to work with celebrities, sports figures, business owners, adult movie stars and many more. It has afforded me to be in places and talk with people who I would never have been able to share space with if it wasn’t for the success I have created.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road is long and rough. I still navigate through tough situations. Somedays I question if I am on the right track. Is this what I am supposed to be doing. It can be difficult at times. My family is a household of 5 and my responsibilities are many, kids, and helping my wife achieve her dream of being a nurse is a massive amount of work and responsibilities. It gets exhausting and it doesn’t always work out the way I want it to. Financially, it can be a heavy struggle to maintain. There have been many days that I thought about giving it all up and just going back to work for someone else. To make someone else rich with the skill set I have developed over the last 25 years. I have been there and done that. It never made me happy.
But I keep on grinding. I don’t give up. I push and push because I know my family is watching. I am teaching my children to never give up. Always work hard and with honesty and integrity. Hard work and working smart will pay off in the long run. Trust me, if I can do it then anyone can. My mindset was prison or death. I have come a long way.

I created ” The KB Network ” KB stands for King Borris. My real name is Boris.

The King Borris brand is me. The Influencer and motivator on social media. My collective following through all my outlets is close to 750,000 followers.
KB Media is my 360 media agency. We provide a 360 approach to a full internet business experience. We do web design, full marketing campaigns, custom automation, custom web designs, Social media management and content creation.
I personally specialize in algorithm growth hacks and awareness. I get eyes on whatever needs to be seen.
The KB Experiment is my podcast where I talk about the ups and downs of life. We talk with people who have stories that anyone can relate to. Similar to this article. I have talked with CeCe Peniston, Ralph McDaniels from Video Music Box, Dan Caldwell former owner of TapouT company, Byron Chambers AKA Mr. Talkbox, Peter Tuchman aka The Einstein of Wallstreet, Wayne owner of PCNY and many more. KB University. I have created a place where others can learn from experienced owners such as myself to run either their own social media platforms or their own Media agency. This is still a work in progress.
KB Mentor is a program I have created where I can teach others 1 on 1 how to run a media agency along with some of the secrets of social media. There are a lot of tools and systems that people don’t know exist. I sit 1 on 1 and show you exactly how the black market side of things works and how it’s manipulated in a way the anyone can monetize multiple platforms.

Be kind to others. Everyone has something they are going through. We all need each other. It is our duty as humans to help one another. We are all on this planet together. We all breathe the same air. We all bleed just the same. So have patience. Treat others as you want to be treated.
