Absolutely, I’d love to share my journey with you, friend. It’s been quite the ride, full of twists, turns, and lots of heart.
It all started with this little spark inside me, this feeling that whispered, ‘You’re meant for something magical.’ I always had this fascination with weddings—the love, the joy, the sheer magic of it all. In addition to the desire to be a part of something bigger than myself, I have always had a big heart to serve women of all ages. Starting from my early years to being a dance studio owner to now- I see how my journey has always been to use my gifts to relate to and serve women in seasons in their lives that I can most strongly relate to.
Armed with passion and a whole lot of determination, I started Next Chapter Weddings right here in Houston. It was scary, sure, but oh-so-rewarding. Every wedding became not just an event to plan, but a canvas to paint dreams upon.
Today, when I look back on the journey that brought me here, I can’t help but feel grateful—for the couples who trust me with their big day, for the incredible team by my side, and for friends like you who’ve cheered me on every step of the way.
But most of all, I’m grateful for having the opportunity to follow my heart to pursue something that fills me with joy and purpose. Because in the end, that’s what it’s all about, right? Finding what sets your soul on fire and running with it.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has not been a smooth road. Owning a business is not for the weak. Entrepreneurship comes with many highs and lows. I think the biggest struggle I have faced in my business in the wedding industry is the wedding seasons themselves. There are busy seasons and there are very slow seasons. I have learned when those seasons are and have adapt to be prepared when those slow season come.
