Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
The Bank Healthcare Institute was conceived by noticing a demand for healthcare workers. College isn’t for everyone and financially it can take a toll on your wallet. I wanted to create a program that was affordable yet effective, giving an opportunity to everyone interested in learning a trade/skill that can be useful in today’s growing society.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Building and owning your own business is never a smooth road. Mentally and financially, it can be challenging as you prepare for business growth. Entrepreneurs invest a lot of their own resources into their businesses, and I am no exception.

The Bank Healthcare Institute is a training and learning center for future phlebotomists and pharmacy technicians. We prepare students for the national exams and assist them in becoming certified. We provide a course curriculum, hands-on training, and job placement assistance. We are PTCB recognized and a certified partner with NPCE. What sets us apart from others is that we care about the success of our students. We are there from admissions to employment. The Bank Healthcare Institute is just that, a repository for healthcare learning and certification and we will be announcing other healthcare certifications soon.
Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc.?
I am an avid reader and movie watcher, and I strive to NOT be the smartest person in the room. If you are the smartest person in the room, then you are in the wrong room. Learning and growth is a continual cycle, and you are only as successful as those you surround yourself with.
