Today we’d like to introduce you to Cameron Wooten.
Hi Cameron, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I began juicing for myself after realizing how much money I was spending at a local juice shop on a weekly basis. I wanted to expose my community to the benefits of juicing so I started posting the juices I would create on social media. From there, everything took off as I started to get so many people that wanted to try the juices. Lishe Juice was created from there and it has been such a great experience to learn and grow as a small business owner. Lishe means nutrition in Swahili and it’s very important to me to show the people within my community that we have to be conscious of what we are putting in our bodies.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There have been a good amount of ups and downs over the past two years with balancing life as an entrepreneur. The biggest thing that I’ve been working on is finding a balance with work and time for myself. I’m always on the go, trying to get things completed from my ongoing to-do list. Sometimes, I’ll be so focused that I’ll forget to eat. Always take a moment to pause, check in with yourself mentally, physically, and emotionally and then get back to the grind.

Any big plans?
I’m super excited about the future of Lishe Juice. I’m planning to expand the business in a major way that I’ll keep a secret for now but we have great things on the way for 2023!
