Hi Chastia, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My love for fashion was a natural gift from God. I remembered as a child I admired one of my favorite Aunts “Auntie Margaret”. She always wore the latest fashions from famous designers. At a young age, those designer names were just names. But I was destined to configure my own research to understand the meaning behind those names.
Then, at the age of 12, I begin to write my goals that I wanted to achieve. One goal in particular was to own my own online Designerlabeljunkiestore Clothing Boutique. I brainstorm for weeks, thinking,” What should I name this boutique?” I soon came to the conclusion that this wasn’t a dream it was a passion I had to accomplish.
Finally,Designerlabeljunkiestore was born! It started on Instagram in August of 2010, and then I figure to give my clients, a place of an intimate shopping experience with Tia. I love my clients and it gives me great pleasure to just see them smile and see that sense of confidence I see in them. My logo is what I live by and what I stand for my boutique.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Yes for the most part it has been smoothly because when you put your Passion & Business in God’s hand your path is smooth and I’m grateful for that … The only struggle I can think of is when business is slow but I always go back to God will make my path smoothly for me and I remind myself of that daily !!!

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
My personality was always unique & to stand out always … Being different and not being like the rest is what was instilled in me by my parents and that’s what I believe in and stand on today !!!
