Today we’d like to introduce you to Courtney Clouser.
Hi Courtney, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’m a commercial Realtor, a podcast host, an avid reader, a crypto enthusiast, an amateur sommelier, and an adventure lover.
I invest in real estate myself and have many years of experience. My true passion is helping others build generational wealth through real estate investments.
I offer a niche white glove experience that clients appreciate. I am data-driven, but I educate my clients. I take the time to walk them through the process and answer questions.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Nothing in life is perfect, and if it is, you’re doing it wrong. I truly believe you should grow, evolve and be better every day, personally and professionally. That being said, the beginning was difficult. I was still very involved in 3 other companies my family owns, which made time management difficult. It wasn’t until I learned to delegate that I began to truly excel.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Being part of a team is an amazing opportunity. Not just any team, but a team that values each other’s strengths. Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
When finding a mentor, it is important to find someone that you respect. Someone that shares your values and will stay committed to your success.
Personally, I appreciate a direct mentoring style. I need someone to call me out if my ideas could be better. Work smarter not harder.
As a leader of a local networking group, my best advice is to lead by example. Listen and implement others’ good ideas.
