Exploring Life & Business with Danielle Balsara

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Balsara.

Hi Danielle, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My career began eight years ago after graduatingg from Kent State University in Ohio in 2015 and moved to Houston immediately after graduation. I accepted a position as an eighth-grade teacher in Pasadena ISD and have been teaching ever since. I plan on this being my last year as an educator in hopes to pursue real estate full-time. After receiving my real estate license and joining Keller Williams, I felt as though my career as an educator had plateaued.

I was no longer being challenged and I’ve chosen to pursue real estate so I can become the best version of myself while being valued and helping others through purchasing, selling, and investing in real estate.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been easy, but I’ve learned a lot about myself along the way.

Teaching through Covid was one of the most challenging experiences, and there were many times when I wanted to give up. During Covid is when I began my real estate journey and it was not an easy feat. After passing my test and joining Keller Williams, I knew I made the right decision and that all of the challenges were worth it.

As you know, we’re big fans of your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I am a Realtor with Keller Williams and specialize in helping others to buy, sell, and invest in real estate. My services start with a consultation, but they DONT end at the closing table. I maintain a relationship with clients in order to ensure they are satisfied even after the deal has closed. My ability to empathize, communicate, and multi-task is what sets me apart from other Realtors.

Purchasing or selling a home is a life-changing decision, and I take pride in making sure my clients are 100% satisfied after listening to their needs and delivering fast results. I will never rush a client into a deal that they are not 110% confident in. I create lifelong relationships with my customers and make sure they are satisfied for years to come.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I owe a large part of my success to many people, but there are a few who stand out. After joining Keller Williams, I had an amazing team lead, Monica Montez, who believed in me from the beginning and persuaded me to host a Business and Brunch event to help kickstart my career. She truly cares for all of her agents and wants everyone to be successful. Another important educator from Keller Williams was Charlie Aguilar. He was a coach when I joined Keller Williams and he was an amazing educator and mentor. He was eager to share his knowledge with all new agents and believed everyone could be successful if they followed the process. Not only did he educate in real estate, but he helped encourage healthy lifestyle habits as well. He’s not afraid to tell you if you’re wrong, praises you for doing well, and is willing and eager to help. Without these 2, I would have never developed the confidence I have now to be a successful Realtor.

Lastly, my biggest supporter is my husband, Josh. He has supported me since I began pursuing real estate and has always talked as if I had already achieved success, even as I was just starting out. On days when I feel unsuccessful, he reminds me why I started and motivates me to keep going. Even when I doubted myself, he never doubted me or discouraged me from pursuing a new career. I owe my success and confidence to him.
