Hi Emilie , thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started lashing in 2020, middle of a pandemic. Didn’t know where I wanted to be with the craft but knew I wanted to learn and service. I enjoy making others feel beautiful and honestly boosting confidence in different women. I’m originally from Miami, FL and that’s where it all started. I made this move to Houston in October of 2023 and honestly it’s been challenging, but a good challenge. I am rebirthing my business and I couldn’t be any more grateful for this opportunity I have to move around and experience new people.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It was not always a smooth road, during the pandemic times were tough and unfortunate. When I first started, I thank myself and the people that had the confidence in me. My first lash set took 8 hours and I know that girl was over me! But because everyone put their trust in me and allowed me to perfect my craft, I am where I am today. Nothing in this life comes easy, but when you apply yourself! You will make it out perfectly fine.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in lash extensions. I believe what sets me apart from others is that I am me. I walk with my head high in this industry because there’s a lot of competitors. In the beauty industry you cannot be scared of competition because it’s everywhere.
I am mostly proud of my growth, where I started vs where I am now are two different businesses honestly. My brand is built on trust and beauty, I want any and everyone to feel comfortable enough to trust me and understand I am ONLY enhancing their true beauty. I am here to be your safe space for a couple hours and hopefully when you leave my chair, however your day was going, I hope I made 10x better
