Erick, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Ebdevtech was started in 2016 as a side business that lead me to ultimately quit my full time corporate job to work on my IT firm full time in 2024.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Just like any small business start up it can have its many challenges. For example in the very beginning it was a struggle to find new clients to show what we are capable to offer. Slowly but surely as the year went on I tried to attend as many expos and social gatherings to get my firm out there. It was really word of mouth that my company started to gain exposer. As a IT firm we try to do our very best to show our clients our level of commitment. A hard reality check that we faced this year was working on a project for a client for 3 months without payment and being promised to be paid in full towards the end of it all. To our surprise it was the biggest lesson we learned yet. Don’t do work for free and aways know your worth.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
One of my favorite childhood memories was going outside and figuring out what I was going to playing. From playing cops and robber or playing with BB gun’s. Everyday was a new adventure.
