Exploring Life & Business with Florence Adeleke of ANIKESCOUTURE

Today we’d like to introduce you to Florence Adeleke.

Hi Florence, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
ANIKESCOUTURE started with a simple desire: to create dresses that make women feel unforgettable. What began as a passion for design has grown into a luxury couture house based in Nigeria, serving clients around the world with bespoke bridal, evening, and occasion wear.

From the beginning, I knew I didn’t want to simply make beautiful clothes. I wanted to create pieces that tell a story and become part of a woman’s most significant moments. Every gown is designed with intention, combining couture craftsmanship, intricate hand embellishments, and timeless elegance.

The journey hasn’t been without challenges. Building a luxury fashion brand in Africa has required resilience, continuous learning, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Every obstacle has strengthened our vision and pushed us to refine both our craftsmanship and the experience we offer our clients.

Today, ANIKESCOUTURE is known for creating statement pieces that celebrate confidence, femininity, and individuality. As we continue to grow globally, our mission remains the same: to ensure every woman who wears ANIKESCOUTURE doesn’t just wear a beautiful dress, she becomes the moment.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not at all. There were seasons when I questioned whether I was good enough, faced financial pressure, and had to make difficult decisions that came with building a business from the ground up.

As a creative, I also had to learn how to become a leader, manage people, and build systems, not just design beautiful gowns. Every challenge stretched me, but it also strengthened my faith, sharpened my vision, and reminded me why I started.

Looking back, I wouldn’t trade those experiences because they shaped both the woman and the brand ANIKESCOUTURE is today.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
ANIKESCOUTURE is a luxury couture fashion house dedicated to creating bespoke bridal, prom, evening, and occasion wear for women who want to make a lasting impression. We are known for our intricate craftsmanship, hand embellishments, and timeless designs that celebrate femininity and individuality.

What sets us apart is our belief that we are not just making dresses, we are creating moments. Every gown is thoughtfully designed and handcrafted to reflect the personality and story of the woman wearing it, making each piece as unique as she is.

More than anything, I’m proud that we’ve built a brand rooted in excellence, intentionality, and genuine care for our clients. I want people to know that when they choose ANIKESCOUTURE, they’re investing in an experience and a piece of artistry that will be remembered long after the occasion has passed.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
What I admire most about Dallas is its appreciation for ambition, creativity, and individuality. It’s a city where luxury, culture, and entrepreneurship coexist, making it an exciting place for fashion and creative businesses to thrive.

If I had to choose one challenge, it would be that in such a fast-paced city, it can sometimes be difficult to slow down and appreciate the craftsmanship and stories behind the work. As a couture designer, I believe the most meaningful creations deserve to be experienced, not just consumed.
