Exploring Life & Business with Francy Chirinos of Top of Success

Today we’d like to introduce you to Francy Chirinos.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Since I was a child, I liked that my family and friends achieved their goals. Since I am the older sister, my parents instilled in me to care for others. I always liked to observe and listen to people older than me, to learn from their experiences, because it seemed illogical to me when they expressed the saying that “no one learns from another’s experience”. Since I was a child, I reflected on these words, and it seemed unnecessary to me to learn only from our own mistakes.

That is why I believe in the value of good advice, and in the discernment to distinguish it. Because of this, even though I was very young, I always had good opinions to offer when my relatives had a problem. He guided them with their homework or schoolwork, but never did it for them. I always sought to show them the most ethical, pleasant, and fastest way to make them themselves, while inviting them to look at other experiences that would allow them to improve. This helped us a lot with our creativity and ability to solve problems.

At all times I tried to make the people around me feel capable of achieving what they wanted, because after the death of my mother I had to assume a large part of that role.

It was after graduating from college that I realized my abilities to empower people. Kind of like a sports coach.

As a journalist and as a university professor, I have always sought to support the creation of new ways of managing work teams and organizational systems; and as a personal and business advisor, I have always tried to ensure that people develop their internal strengths to take advantage of the opportunities that are presented to them in their environment.

For this reason, I completed master’s, doctoral and post-doctoral studies in business management, with the desire to systematize my work to develop the skills of professionals, entrepreneurs, and businessmen with greater quality.

The road has been arduous and beautiful. I have made many successful friends. It has been very satisfying, due to the mutual growth in each task, with each person and company.

However, my arrival in the United States revealed many fears and new expectations, so I had to rebuild my faith and character to start over with my two children; since being a single mother of a child and a teenager, in a new country, so big and without knowing the language, represented the greatest challenge of my life. But everything has flowed taking one day at a time, with a well-established plan and objectives. The experience in this city has been wonderful. He has received us with love, opportunities, and care. Currently, I have a better command of the language and I am working again on what is my passion.

It has not been easy at all, because growing personally and professionally has meant facing adverse situations and then situating myself in this new stage of my life. It has involved increasingly developing the ability to empathize with my clients to help them unveil both the success that awaits them and the path they can follow. It is gathering with them a vivid vision of their strengths and weaknesses so that they can take ownership of the opportunities that come their way. It’s beautiful, seeing her big eyes screaming Eureka, this is it!

I believe that we were all endowed with extraordinary abilities to achieve what we want, only that in the convulsion of the current world, these are being lost until we even forget our purpose in life.

That’s why I love my job, because it consists of guiding others so that they recognize that they are indeed strong and brave to get ahead in their lives.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road was very hard, marked by poverty and orphanhood. My mother passed away very young, leaving my father with five school-age children. It was a challenge for him to continue the values of family unit, while working hard to support us. As an older female figure, it fell to me to take care of my family.

Our parents always told us about fighting for a better future, and they made us dream about it, even overcoming obstacles.

To study at the university, I had to work in sales and even as a domestic, with the commitment of helping my father with the rest of my siblings. The financial straits remained even during my master’s studies; however, I never stopped. It is because of everything I have lived, the reason why I believe that our advancement in life does not begin with money, but with the conviction and commitment towards the goal. Then the money will always come.

Of course, you always have to know how to manage all resources effectively, and that is part of the secret of my success. It is part of what I share in my conferences, training and professional accompaniment.

We’ve been impressed with Top of Success, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
