Exploring Life & Business with Greg Sentimore Jr of Sentitect

Today we’d like to introduce you to Greg Sentimore Jr.

Hi Greg, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Meet Greg Sentimore Jr.: Model, Entrepreneur & Advocate for Mental Strength

Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, Greg Sentimore Jr. is a dynamic force whose journey blends athleticism, leadership, and creative expression. Known for his striking presence and versatility as an athletic model, Greg brings energy, focus, and confidence to every project he takes on. His story began on the field — playing baseball and football — where he developed a deep passion for fitness, teamwork, and discipline. After college athletics, Greg took those same values into corporate America, joining Amazon and quickly rising through leadership roles. His ability to drive results, inspire teams, and lead with purpose earned him multiple awards and recognition across the company. But Greg’s ambitions stretched beyond the corporate world. His love for fashion, fitness, and personal development inspired a transition into modeling, where he’s been making his mark with a powerful blend of athletic build, charisma, and authentic presence. His work captures both grit and grace — a reflection of his journey and the dedication behind it. Outside of modeling, Greg is the owner of a growing logistics company, proving that his entrepreneurial mindset runs just as strong as his athletic drive. He’s also passionate about mental health awareness, especially within the fitness community, using his platform to remind others that true strength starts within. Today, whether he’s leading a team, pushing limits in the gym, or creating in front of the camera, Greg Sentimore Jr. continues to embody focus, resilience, and style — living proof that your path can evolve as long as you stay true to your purpose and put in the work every day.

Greg started as a young, inspired kid/athlete, that never missed a day of school with perfect attendance from kindergarten to 12th grade.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Absolutely not a straight line — but every bump taught me something I use today. I started out as a multi-sport kid from New Orleans who turned that discipline into a corporate career at Amazon. The switch from leading big teams to building my own path was humbling. Entrepreneurship means wearing every hat. With my hot-shot logistics company, I learned cash flow the hard way: late-night dispatches, thin margins, breakdowns on the road, and the maze of permits, insurance, and DOT compliance. I’ve had loads fall through, routes change mid-drive, and “we’ll pay you Friday” turn into weeks. Tightening my systems — cleaner books, tighter routes, better carrier checks — kept the lights on and the business growing. Modeling brought a different kind of grind. There’s rejection, long holds that don’t convert, last-minute calls, and staying camera-ready while traveling or working 12-hour days. I had to build my own momentum — investing in shoots, treating Instagram like a storefront, and staying consistent when the algorithm wasn’t. The win came from leaning into what makes me different: athleticism, presence, and professionalism on set. Mentally, balancing three lanes — modeling, business, and life — tested me. I’ve had to protect my energy, build a real recovery routine, and be honest about stress. As an advocate for mental health in fitness, I practice what I post: movement, quiet time, and asking for help when I need it. Health-wise, I’ve also tightened up nutrition and training to keep my labs moving in the right direction and my performance high. So no, it hasn’t been smooth. It’s been real. But the setbacks sharpened my leadership, deepened my faith in the process, and reminded me why I do this: to show that strength, discipline, and style can coexist — and that you can build a lane that’s truly yours.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I was always energetic, competitive, and focused on excellence — whether it was in sports, school, or leadership. I grew up in New Orleans, where family, faith, and hard work shaped everything I did. Athletics were a huge part of my life — baseball and football taught me discipline, teamwork, and how to turn pressure into performance. Even as a kid, I had a mindset for structure and results; I wanted to lead, not just participate. That drive carried into everything — from being the one organizing pickup games in the neighborhood to setting big goals most people my age were not even thinking about yet. I was curious, ambitious, and determined to turn my ideas into something real. Looking back, that same energy I had growing up is what built the foundation for how I move today — consistent, confident, and purpose-driven.
