Hi Jamela, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My journey to womb healing all started with a very personal mission: healing my own womb. When I got diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome), I was determined to find relief without relying on medications, which always seemed to bring unwanted side effects. That’s when I dove headfirst into researching natural remedies. And let me tell you, I fell deep into the rabbit hole! That journey led me to discover the magic of yoni steaming and the incredible healing power of herbs.
As I learned more and started applying what I discovered, I began feeling better bit by bit. It was like a weightlifting off my shoulders as I finally started to address the root cause of my discomfort.
But it didn’t stop there. Over time, I felt this burning desire to share what I had learned with other women. It took me over a decade to fully embrace this calling, but when I did, it felt like coming home. Now, I’m on a mission to spread the word about womb health and healing. I want to help heal the world, one womb at a time. And trust me, I’m not backing down from that mission!
You see, my journey began with PCOS, but it was just the beginning. It taught me that healing isn’t just about fixing the symptoms; it’s about understanding our bodies and empowering ourselves to heal naturally. And while I can’t heal anyone directly, as I consider myself a healing facilitator, I’m here to share what I’ve learned and guide others on their own healing paths.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Life’s journey isn’t exactly a smooth ride, is it? I’ve had my fair share of ups and downs, especially when it came to figuring out which herbs worked best for me. There were moments of frustration when it seemed like nothing was making a difference. But I didn’t give up. It wasn’t just about trial and error; it was about realizing that healing my womb required more than just adding yoni steaming and herbs to my routine. It was deeper work than that. Once I understood that, the path ahead started to feel a bit smoother, and I finally achieved the healing I was after.
And let me tell you, running a business hasn’t been a walk in the park either. I’m sure many entrepreneurs can relate. My biggest struggle? Getting out of my own way. Because, truth be told, the only person who can really hold me back from reaching my goals is me. Running a business takes serious grit. Challenges will always come your way, no matter which path you choose. But it’s passion and perseverance that will see you through.

I’m a holistic women’s wellness and integrative healing arts practitioner, board-certified hypnotherapist, herbalist, spiritual life coach, and holistic hypno doula. My passion lies in educating women about the profound power of womb healing, emphasizing that when we heal our wombs, we heal our wounds. My aim is to guide women towards healing in their minds, wombs, and spirits.
Deeply Rooted Holistics isn’t just a name; it’s a reflection of my core belief that genuine healing begins by addressing the root causes of disease within our bodies. Through my practice, I’m answering the calling of my heart: to facilitate womb healing for women everywhere. While my ultimate desire is soul freedom for all, my primary focus is on womb work. I’m on a mission to liberate women from self-limiting beliefs and the weight of generational trauma, much of which is held within our wombs. Too often, these deeply ingrained issues manifest as reproductive health challenges such as PCOD, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, infertility, ovarian cysts, menstrual irregularities, and hormonal imbalances.
What sets me apart? It’s my unwavering passion for this work. Womb healing transcends surface-level symptom management; it’s an opportunity for women to transmute trauma into triumph, thereby reshaping our familial legacies from generational curses into what I like to call generational blessings.
My services extend beyond mere transactions; they’re immersive experiences. I believe in the power of ceremony and honoring the divine feminine essence. For me, a yoni steam isn’t just a yoni steam; it’s a sacred ritual that honors the profound connection between our wombs and the divine.
In addition to yoni steaming, I offer hypnosis sessions encompassing past life regression, cord cutting, chakra cleansing, and fertility hypnosis. I craft herbal remedies, tailoring specific blends for individual clients. From oils and salves to teas and tinctures, even sea moss gel, each product is meticulously formulated to support women on their journey towards alignment of mind, womb, and spirit.
I’m also a doula. I chose this path because once I help my clients overcome their infertility and achieve pregnancy, I want to continue supporting them through every step of their journey. From antepartum support, guiding them through the challenges and uncertainties of pregnancy, to being by their side during labor and delivery and providing essential postpartum care, I am committed to offering comprehensive support throughout the entire pregnancy experience.
Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
One of my most cherished childhood memories is riding in my dad’s metallic blue chevy. It was a drop-top, and I can remember the cool California air blowing against my face and the way the sunshine made his car shimmer. Just being with my daddy always made my heart so full.
