Exploring Life & Business with Jordan Land of Direction Therapy

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jordan Land.

Hi Jordan, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
From a very young age, I found myself able to understand many things in regards to health, anatomy, and the art of healing. As I grew, I felt that I had a craved obligation to further my knowledge and enter the field as a health care professional. My name is Jordan and this is where my story begins. After graduating in 2009, I immediately went on to get my license to start practicing.

On my journey, I have had the opportunity to work with many amazing souls; LMT’s, Chiropractors, Reiki Practitioners, Nurses, and Doctors of Western and Eastern Medicine from all around the world. With each opportunity, I would soak in as much information as I could. Blending my passion and understanding with the knowledge I’ve acquired throughout my journey thus far I have built the craft that I use today.

For the first 10 years of my career, I focused on “On-Site” therapy. In 2019, I was called to a small town located in Conroe, Texas and have been offering my services there ever since. In 2021, I opened a satellite location in Humble, Texas.

Today, Direction Therapy is a Massage Therapy Studio with two locations in Conroe and in Humble, Texas. Direction Therapy also offers Yoga, On-Site therapy, and natural hand crafted products. Areas of service include, but not limited to, Houston and the surrounding areas: Katy, The Woodlands/Spring, Huntsville, Humble, Beaumont and more. Offering an alternative approach to health, we will blend methods to create the appropriate custom health plan for you. This will give you the opportunity to put you in charge of your health and to grow in the right direction. The active purpose and intent is to make a healthier lifestyle more affordable and more available while educating in the process.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Life is full of challenges. In my experience, you can only plan so much. Be open to anything that may cross your path, have faith in yourself and in your journey, and do not let anyone define your worth or value.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Direction Therapy has 2 locations and offers on-site therapy for massage and yoga. In 2018, I started offering many natural products that are tested, tried, and true: Organic loose leaf teas, organic hand made soaps, organic body products for all skin types, and a newly added variety is a few healthier food items. My main focus is Massage Therapy. I do things a little differently than next. All of my tools and modalities are available for a flat fee. No hidden charges, no upselling.

In my experience, I find that most times when a tool is needed, one may not want to spend the additional fee, they may not be able to financially. I am also on the receiving end, I completely understand this. I also understand what may benefit the body at that time during the session. Which is why my tools and knowledge are at your disposal. Modalities, tools, and services that are offered are as follows: Ashiatsu, Thai, Swedish, Prenatal, Deep Tissue, Sports, Lymphatic Drainage, Craniosacral Release, Myofascial Release, Active Therapy, Triggerpoint Therapy, Aromatherapy, Guasha, Cupping, Hot Stone, Ear Candling, and Body Treatments.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I am a farmer, a musician, and an aspiring tribal dancer.
