Today we’d like to introduce you to Kelli Chandler.
Hi Kelli, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
The idea for Concierge Orthopedics came about from a need to go to the doctor when I had no childcare. I was working part-time as a physical therapist for Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas but I still needed to go to the doctor myself while toting my one-year-old son along with me. I thought to myself, why can’t they come to me? And the wheels began to turn. Many of my mom friends were in the same boat and suffering from neck pain, back pain, and various orthopedic issues. I began treating them at my home during nap time. They would bring their kids to play while mine slept, or I would visit them and bring my table while our children played together. It soon became apparent the great need for more concierge services for young moms as well as professionals that had difficulty getting to appointments outside of normal work hours. From there, a business plan was made and delayed as my husband’s job transferred us back to Southlake, TX. As soon as our two kids were settled into our new home and my husband adjusted to his new job, I began the process of getting a business license in the great state of Texas. The rest is history!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
One of the biggest struggles was recruiting patients while also being new in town. I quickly learned where and how to get the most out of my money and time. Turns out, it was not actively marketing to referring physicians. It was meeting new people, having conversations with them, hearing about their lives, their struggles, and often times, their orthopedic issues. I saw the importance of social media in creating your brand. And then, I got to start all over when we moved to The Woodlands in 2018.

Concierge Orthopedics is a physical therapy company that brings treatment to your home or office. We are known for outstanding patient communication, accommodating hours, and individualized treatments. Each treatment is one on one. Patients get the full attention of the physical therapist for the duration of their treatment session. No more sharing their attention among multiple patients with the hopes of getting a few minutes of manual therapy. Each patient will receive one hour or more of hands-on treatment including manipulation, soft tissue work, dry needling, and exercise.
Any big plans?
Concierge Orthopedics started in Southlake, Texas in 2016 and expanded to The Woodlands in 2018. This year brings exciting expansion into Athens/Tyler as well as Dripping Springs!
