I was born and raised in Thailand, where massage and holistic wellness are deeply woven into our culture. From a young age, I learned that touch has the power to heal not only the body but also the mind. When I moved to Houston, I realized there weren’t many places offering authentic Thai massage — the kind that blends traditional techniques, mindfulness, and genuine care.
I started Therapeutic Thai Massage with a simple mission: to bring the true essence of Thai healing to my new home in Texas. What began as a small space with just a few clients quickly grew through word of mouth. Our guests connected not only with the quality of our treatments but also with the warmth and authenticity of our team.
Today, we’re proud to serve our community from two locations — in Sugar Land and Katy — with nearly 100 guests visiting daily. Along the way, I’ve also developed a deeper passion for wellness innovation, which inspired new ventures like Renasci Spa and AromD, a Thai-inspired wellness center opening soon in Houston.
For me, it’s never been just about massage. It’s about creating a space where people can pause, heal, and reconnect with themselves — a place where every guest feels cared for like family.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s never been an easy road, especially in the early years. When I started, I wore every hat — from therapist to receptionist to cleaner — working seven days a week just to keep the business going. There were many challenges, but each one taught me something valuable about perseverance and passion.
One of the toughest moments came during the COVID-19 pandemic. Like many small businesses, we faced uncertainty and setbacks. But instead of letting it defeat us, I turned that challenge into an opportunity. We used the downtime to completely remodel our Katy location, giving it a fresh, beautiful new look and creating an even better experience for our clients.
Today, after 14 years in business, I can look back and say every obstacle was worth it. Those struggles shaped who we are — a resilient, caring, and stronger team than ever before.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
What makes me happiest is seeing people walk out of my spa feeling lighter, calmer, and truly renewed. Knowing that I can help someone feel better — whether it’s easing their pain, stress, or just giving them a moment of peace — fills me with purpose.
I also find joy in seeing my team grow. Many of them started with very little experience, and now they’ve become confident, skilled professionals. Watching them succeed reminds me why I started this journey — to create something meaningful not just for clients, but for everyone who’s part of our family.
And on a personal level, I’m happiest when I can share a sense of calm and kindness with others. Life is busy, but creating moments of balance — for myself and for those around me — is what truly makes me feel fulfilled.
