Hi Mirna, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I attended a 3 day spiritual retreat at a local Houston church and I received not only help for my mind, spirit and soul but they also nourished the body with the exceptional cuisine that was served and top notch white glove service! This inspired me to give back to my community and I have volunteered at that retreat for the past 3 years since.

It was there that I was motivated to pursue a Culinary arts degree and it motivated me also to open my own catering business (thus far I have done a range of catered events from birthdays to weddings and even funerals).

Because of my passion for cooking and creating memorable moments for my clients, I am actively pursuing a degree at Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts in Culinary Arts and Operations. I’m set to graduate in 2025!

In addition to broadening my skillset of culinary operations, I am currently employed as the Operations Manager for the soon-to-open Champions Food Truck Park (located in NW Houston). I am excited for this opportunity to blend my skills in management, exceptional culinary experiences and love of community to share with Houston.
