Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalie Pereira Sanchez.
Hi Natalie, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Thank you so much for the opportunity to share my story.
I’m Dr. Natalie Pereira Sanchez, a Prosthodontist and the founder of Dentarts Implants and Prosthodontics in Sienna, Missouri City. My journey in dentistry began more than 18 years ago, driven by a deep passion for both the science and artistry behind restoring smiles. After years of academic and clinical experience, I felt inspired to create a space that truly reflects my philosophy of care—where oral health, wellness, and technology come together to improve people’s lives.
Dentarts officially opened in June of 2025, born from the vision of building a wellness-focused prosthodontic practice that delivers comprehensive dental solutions in a calm, welcoming, and patient-centered environment. From the very beginning, my goal was to design a space where patients feel heard, comfortable, and confident about their treatment, no matter how complex their case may be.
What drives me every day is the transformative power of prosthodontics—seeing a patient regain their ability to smile, eat, and speak comfortably is incredibly rewarding. We use advanced digital dentistry, 3D printing, and implant technologies to make treatments precise, efficient, and safe, but the heart of what we do is always about human connection.
Dentarts is more than just a dental office—it’s a reflection of everything I value: excellence, compassion, and innovation. My mission has always been to help patients not only achieve beautiful, functional smiles but also to feel genuinely cared for throughout their journey. That’s what keeps me inspired and what I want Dentarts to represent in our community.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Definitely not a smooth road—but absolutely a rewarding one.
Opening a dental practice, especially a specialty one like Dentarts Implants and Prosthodontics, comes with many challenges that most people don’t see behind the scenes. From the very beginning, the process of starting a dental practice involves an incredible amount of coordination—construction delays, equipment installation, permits, licensing, hiring, and financing—all while trying to maintain a clear vision of what kind of experience you want to deliver for your patients.
Like many new practice owners, I faced moments of uncertainty. Construction didn’t always go as planned, costs added up faster than expected, and there’s a constant learning curve when you’re trying to balance the roles of both clinician and business owner. Building a brand from scratch also takes time—earning the trust of a community, developing efficient systems, and attracting new patients, can be tough at the start.
But every challenge became an opportunity to grow. Each obstacle reinforced the importance of resilience, adaptability, and gratitude—for my team, my patients, and my family who supported me through it all.
Today, when I walk into Dentarts and see our patients smiling, comfortable, and confident, I know every late night and setback was worth it. Those early struggles are what shaped the heart of our practice: a place built with intention, perseverance, and a genuine passion for helping others.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
I’ve always believed that growth happens when you stay curious and intentional—both personally and professionally. As a practice owner and prosthodontist, I’m constantly seeking inspiration and practical tools that help me be a better leader, clinician, and person.
I love listening to dental podcasts that focus on clinical excellence and practice growth, such as The Dental Leaders Podcast, Dental Business RX and The Thriving Dentist Show. They offer great insight into how other professionals navigate the same challenges of balancing patient care, leadership, and innovation.
Outside of dentistry, I often read and listen to content focused on personal development, mindset, and wellness. Books like Atomic Habits by James Clear and The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey have been foundational for me. I also enjoy podcasts like The Mindset Mentor and How I Built This, which remind me that every journey—whether in business or in life—is built on persistence, vision, and resilience.
For day-to-day organization and inspiration, I rely on apps like Goodnotes and Canva to manage projects and creative ideas, and I always keep a gratitude journal to stay grounded.
These resources help me stay inspired, focused, and aligned with what matters most: creating meaningful connections, continuing to grow, and delivering the best possible care to my patients.
