Hi Nereida , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Two years ago, I took a leap of faith and opened my own spa, Derma Radiant. What inspired me wasn’t just a love for skincare — it was the deeper purpose behind it: helping people feel confident and beautiful in their own skin. I’ve always had a passion for skincare and wellness, and after working for many years alongside some incredible dermatologists, I knew I was ready to take the next step. Starting my own studio felt scary at first but my passion was greater than my fear. From the beginning, I wanted Derma Radiant to be more than just a spa. I wanted it to be a place where people could not only treat their skin, but also take a deep breath, unwind, and feel completely cared for. I pray before every appointment, asking God to help me create peace for each client and I believe that’s what makes the biggest difference. It’s been a challenge but all worth it.

At Derma Radiant, I specialize in customized skincare treatments that not only address the skin’s needs, but also the person behind the skin. From rejuvenating facials to tailored skincare regimens, every service is designed to help clients feel refreshed, confident, and cared for. What sets Derma Radiant apart is the intentional atmosphere calm, welcoming, and centered on true self-care. Many of my clients tell me that coming to Derma Radiant feels like therapy and I take that to heart. I genuinely pray over my work, asking God to let each person who walks through my doors leave with more than just glowing skin but a renewed spirit. That’s what I’m most proud of: creating a brand that blends professional skincare with emotional and spiritual care.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Something that might surprise people is that every time I prepare for a client, I pray. I ask God to help me not only treat their skin, but to help them feel peace, comfort, and confidence. What I do goes beyond skincare I truly care about each person who walks through my doors, and I believe healing can happen on many levels.
