Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has been anything but smooth, but it has been deeply rewarding. Over the years, we’ve faced challenges that tested our resilience and adaptability. Starting a business in a competitive food industry required significant effort to stand out, and as a Venezuelan restaurant, educating customers about the uniqueness of our cuisine was a hurdle we had to overcome.
One of our biggest struggles came during the COVID-19 pandemic, which disrupted our retail services and catering operations. We had to pivot quickly, focusing on frozen and refrigerated products to sustain our business. Additionally, maintaining the quality and homemade flavor of our food while scaling up production for larger events and retail orders was a delicate balancing act.
Despite these struggles, we’ve persevered with a commitment to premium ingredients, excellent service, and a passion for sharing our Venezuelan culinary heritage. Today, we are proud of the trust and loyalty we’ve earned over nine years of serving our community.
