Hi Ro, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I spent over a decade in corporate pharmaceutical and consumer sales and marketing roles. While I loved my work to help others, I no longer felt like myself. The more I learned, the more I realized I wanted to have a different and more intentional impact on the world and those I encountered.
My creative spirit was deeply stifled and continued to decline. Driven by my passion for adorning people and spaces, I took the leap and founded Adorn Interiors. I’ve always had a natural empathy that allows me to connect with people and understand their needs at a more subconscious level, which makes it easy for me to create spaces that resonate with who we are at our core.
It became my mission to create spaces designed for the client and their needs, not for the curious eye seeking only another pretty space or designing to appeal to others outside the self. I have always done my best work in spaces or environments created with a specific intention for a specific purpose for a specific end-user. Designing such spaces allows me to remain connected and balanced, and it allows me to grow in ways that my previous career did not allow.
It is Adorn’s mission to create intentional designs for intentional people. Some of the more unique aspects of what we do at Adorn focus on a more holistic approach to design by prioritizing balance and harmony of the mind, body, spirit, emotions, and health. We love to give every client a major dose of Feng Shui to help them create an authentic environment that attracts joy, abundance, prosperity, peace of mind, and love.
Such an approach creates a productive environment that helps people better connect with themselves and others. Each space resonates with the client’s objectives and intentions rather than focusing on the hottest design trends. Trends fade, but the essence of who we are remains with us throughout our lives.

We all face challenges, but would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I’m not sure that there a such thing as a smooth road when you are an entrepreneur in current times.
Every day is a pivot, but the lessons learned are priceless. I can’t speak for anyone else, but I asked the Universe to help me learn and grow fast to overcome some of the small business hurdles many entrepreneurs make. Let’s just say the Universe did not disappoint. I have faced some challenges along the way.
However, it is those teachable moments that help me grow the most, and they are also some of the best experiences I’ve encountered along this journey. Some of the struggles I have faced include scalability, attracting desired clientele, balancing time and workload, and finding other like-minded, experience-rich entrepreneurs.
We’ve been impressed with Adorn Interiors, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart?
At Adorn Interiors, our mission is to create intentional spaces for intentional people, whether in their homes or workplaces.

Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Growing up, I watched my mother work several jobs at once to ensure my sister and I had the best she could offer and everything we needed. She was always growing and pivoting to give us more experiences and relocating to ensure that we had better opportunities in life than she did.
While it was long ago, I remember her hard work and willingness to change, which has helped me in my adult life and prevented me from becoming too rooted in any way of thinking, acting, living, or being. I enjoy diversity of thought, experience, and location. I watched her work hard and always find a way, no matter how much support she did or didn’t have.
She paved the way and helped me realize there is so much more in the world to experience, which extends well beyond a single city, state, community, or other individual factor. She inspired me to desire more and to seize every opportunity to create the life of my dreams.
