Exploring Life & Business with Romeo El Chaer of Romeo Life Coach

Today we’d like to introduce you to Romeo El Chaer

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey as Romeo Life Coach

My name is Romeo El Chaer, and I’m known professionally as Romeo Life Coach. My story began in Lebanon, where I was born in 1973 as the sixth child in my family.

At a young age, I faced a life-altering event. Playing with a cousin at the age of 3, an accident with a homemade bow and arrow resulted in the loss of sight in my right eye. This experience instilled in me resilience and a deep appreciation for life’s possibilities.

Growing up, navigating social life with a visual impairment presented its challenges. Yet, despite these hurdles, I persevered through the Lebanese war of the early 90s, graduating with a master’s degree in business.

In 2003, I found love and married the woman of my dreams. Together, we were blessed with two sons, Karl and Michael. As a Christian family, witnessing the 2006 war between Lebanon and Israel solidified our desire for a peaceful life for our family. This led us to migrate to the United States in April 2021.

Starting anew at 47 with a family and limited resources was a test of our strength. Settling in Bangor, Maine, my extroverted nature led to opportunities. I served on the boards of two NGOs and became a Sir Knight in the Knights of Columbus. Fueled by a passion to help others, I pursued life coaching. After thorough research, I enrolled in a reputable institute and became a double-certified life and health coach in June 2022.

My outgoing personality attracted speaking engagements. I shared my immigration experience and strategies for building a new life in the States at events organized by the Bangor Chamber of Commerce, the Maine Multicultural Center, and even a private staff event for Penquis, reaching an audience of around 800 people, where I spoke about the “Ripple Effect” and “The Power of the Little.”

In 2023, family reasons prompted us to move to Texas. Since then, I’ve been diligently rebuilding my business and online presence. I’m an active member of the National Speakers Association’s Houston Chapter and both the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Global and its Houston Chapter. In July 2024, I’ll have the privilege of becoming the new Membership Director at the NSA Houston Chapter – Board of Directors – a true honor to serve alongside such an amazing group.

This, in essence, is how my journey as Romeo Life Coach began. It’s a story of resilience, adaptation, and a deep commitment to helping others navigate their own paths to fulfillment.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Challenges and Resilience

The road certainly hasn’t been entirely smooth. Like many, I’ve encountered significant challenges throughout my life. Some, like the potential abortion before birth due to my parents’ economic situation at the time, could have been life-altering. However, my parents’ faith, particularly my mother’s unwavering Christian beliefs, led them to choose life. It’s a testament to the power of faith and the ripple effects of even the smallest choices. My existence, in turn, allowed the existence of my elder son and now he pursued his calling by serving in the Houston Air National Guard. This exemplifies the concept of the “Ripple Effect” beautifully.

Another hurdle was the emotional trauma I experienced from a lack of preparation for social interactions due to my visual impairment and defective look. While my parents provided a loving and supportive environment, they may not have fully anticipated the challenges I’d face in the outside world. This led to experiences with bullying, rejection, and judgment that I wasn’t equipped to handle initially. It’s a reflection point I consider during my own personal growth journey. After all, as I often say, “I live what I coach, and I coach what I live”, respecting my clients’ uniqueness and their unique life plans.

Starting anew in a new country with limited resources presented its own set of difficulties. Relocating at a later stage in life, in your late 40s, to a country with unfamiliar laws and customs, and rebuilding from scratch is no easy feat. However, my resilience honed over time, and my natural extroversion helped me connect with people and make a positive impression. Today, I’m thriving and constantly striving for further success.

We’ve been impressed with Romeo Life Coach, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Empowering Decision-Makers Through Life Coaching

As a certified life coach and motivational speaker, my passion lies in helping decision-makers and those feeling stuck, navigate life transitions and find clarity.

My coaching approach focuses on helping clients uncover the root cause of their indecisiveness and develop a personalized roadmap for moving forward with confidence. This system has empowered countless individuals to enter the “second phase” of their lives with renewed purpose and direction.

My ideal clients typically range from 30 to 50 years old, although I’ve also worked successfully with clients in their sixties who seek to reconnect and improve their relationship with God, discover their life’s purpose, set personal boundaries, etc.

What Sets Me Apart?

My unique perspective sets me apart from other coaches. My international background, coupled with experience in various roles (employee, consultant, business partner, entrepreneur), has exposed me to diverse cultures and honed my ability to analyze situations from multiple angles.

This, combined with my personal experiences as a father and a resilient entrepreneur, allows me to deeply connect with decision-makers. I understand their challenges because I’ve faced similar ones myself. I am a living example of overcoming obstacles and achieving success.

Building Resilience: A Signature Program

In addition to one-on-one coaching, I’m developing a comprehensive 9-module seminar and training program about “Building Resilience.” This program equips individuals and teams with the tools and strategies to navigate challenges and overcome setbacks, both personally and professionally.

Connecting with You

I offer a free discovery call through my website. These sessions allow me to assess my potential client’s current life situation and uncover the root cause of their indecisiveness. Together, we can explore goal(s) and determine if my coaching services are a good fit for their needs and if they are a good fit for coaching as well.

I’m also committed to sharing the framework that helped me overcome my own life challenges. My story is designed to inspire others and provide valuable insights for those seeking to move forward with greater clarity and purpose: Your bridge to thriving life. What makes you happy?
There’s no greater satisfaction for me than witnessing a client achieve clarity and embark on a new chapter with excitement. Seeing them move forward with renewed purpose and confidence, empowered to live a life aligned with their faith and God’s plan, is incredibly rewarding.

It’s especially gratifying when clients return to share their successes. These stories validate my life’s purpose and confirm that I’m making a positive impact, guiding people on a path that fulfills them, professionally, spiritually as well as personally.

On a personal level, I deeply understand the feeling of being stuck. During my own struggles, I yearned for guidance and mentorship. Now, I have the privilege of providing that support to others, helping them navigate their journeys,

My mission is to empower individuals to discover their life’s purpose and achieve fulfillment. Knowing that I’m contributing to their journeys, leaving a lasting positive impact, and working alongside them to honor God’s plan for their lives fills me with immense joy.

Isn’t it beautiful?
