Exploring Life & Business with Rosaura Oberto of Blisslicious Shakes & Teas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rosaura Oberto.

Hi Rosaura, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I was born in Maracaibo, Venezuela, where I earned a degree in Advertising and Public Relations, followed by a Master’s degree in Marketing Management. From an early age, I discovered my passion for connecting with people, communicating ideas, and creating projects that could make a positive impact.

In 2010, while searching for ways to improve my daughter’s health, I began a journey that would also transform my own life. What started as a personal search soon became a deep passion for wellness and for helping others build healthier habits.

Years later, my family and I immigrated to the United States. Like many immigrants, I had to start over, adapt to a new culture, and rebuild my professional path. That experience strengthened my belief that even in the midst of challenges, there are always opportunities to grow.

Today, I am the founder of Blisslicious Shakes & Teas, a wellness space where we promote healthy living through nutrition, exercise, healthy habits, and personalized support. Our mission is to help people create a lifestyle they can sustain over time and discover that true wellness isn’t achieved overnight—it is built through small, consistent choices that eventually transform lives.

Over time, I also realized that wellness has the power to create opportunities beyond physical health. In addition to guiding our clients toward healthier lifestyles, we also support those who want to become entrepreneurs, build their own businesses, and create an additional source of income while helping others improve their well-being.

More than building a business, my goal has always been to build a community where people find health, hope, personal growth, and the opportunity to transform their own lives while making a positive impact on someone else’s.

Today, my greatest joy is seeing how one decision can completely change a person’s life—the decision to prioritize their health, believe in themselves, or take the leap into entrepreneurship. When someone takes that step, they don’t just change their own story; they positively influence their family and their community. That is the purpose that inspires everything I do.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it definitely hasn’t been an easy journey, and it’s still a work in progress.

One of the biggest challenges has been immigrating and starting over in a completely different country. Adapting to a new culture, learning how the system works, understanding the legal and business landscape in the United States—all of it has required, and continues to require, patience, resilience, and humility.

On top of that, I’ve had to navigate this entire journey in a language that isn’t my native one. Learning, communicating, building relationships, and growing a business in English has pushed me far outside my comfort zone. Every day is another opportunity to learn, and I’ve come to realize that making mistakes is simply part of the growth process.

Another challenge has been building credibility from the ground up. When you move to a new country, no one knows your story, your experience, or everything you’ve accomplished before. I’ve had to earn people’s trust one relationship at a time through consistency, hard work, and a genuine desire to serve. That is something I’m still building every day.

I’ve also learned that real transformation takes time. We live in a world that often looks for quick fixes, but I believe in educating, supporting, and walking alongside people as they build healthy habits that truly improve their lives. In the same way, I enjoy mentoring those who want to become entrepreneurs and build a purpose-driven business while helping others improve their well-being.

Looking back, I can see how much I’ve grown, even though I know my journey is far from over. Every challenge has strengthened my character, deepened my faith, and reinforced my sense of purpose. Today, I don’t see obstacles as something meant to stop me. I see them as opportunities to grow, to serve others more effectively, and to become the person God is shaping me to be. And that’s the mindset I choose to carry with me every single day.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
What makes Blisslicious different is that we’re not simply focused on serving healthy shakes and teas—we’re focused on helping people build healthier lives.

We believe that lasting wellness comes from small, consistent habits that create meaningful change over time. That’s why we provide personalized guidance, nutrition education, fitness encouragement, ongoing support, and a welcoming community that helps people stay committed to their goals.

From the moment someone walks through our doors, we want them to feel supported, encouraged, and valued. Our goal is to create an environment where people find practical tools, genuine relationships, and the motivation to improve both their physical and emotional well-being.

Another important part of our mission is creating opportunities. In addition to helping people improve their health, we mentor individuals who want to become entrepreneurs and build purpose-driven businesses, allowing them to create an additional source of income while making a positive difference in the lives of others.

What makes me most proud isn’t just the physical transformations our clients achieve. It’s seeing people regain their confidence, develop healthier habits, build meaningful friendships, and discover new opportunities for themselves and their families.

To me, Blisslicious is much more than a wellness business. It’s a community where people find health, hope, personal growth, and the encouragement to believe that one small decision can become the beginning of a completely different life.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is that meaningful transformation rarely happens overnight. It’s the result of small decisions we make consistently every single day.

For a long time, I believed I needed to have everything figured out before taking the next step. Today, I understand that growth happens while we’re moving forward—even when we don’t have all the answers.

I’ve also learned that serving people creates a far greater impact than simply focusing on results. When you genuinely listen, support others, and celebrate their progress, you build relationships that go far beyond business.

Perhaps the greatest lesson of all has been learning to trust the process. I don’t always understand the purpose behind every challenge when I’m living through it, but looking back, I can see how each experience has prepared me to serve others more effectively. That perspective allows me to keep moving forward with hope, faith, gratitude, and the belief that I still have so much to learn—and so much more to give.
