Exploring Life & Business with Roseline Okoro of Roses Natural

Today we’d like to introduce you to Roseline Okoro.

Hi Roseline, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?

I grew up in a family that understood the importance of natural, plant-based, and eco-friendly products. My childhood was filled with memories of my dad making natural moisturizing soaps out of simple yet effective ingredients for household use. In addition, as a child and young adult, I suffered from eczema and dry skin. My parents made soothing natural products that helped to keep my skin protected all year round.

After I relocated from Nigeria to the United States, I was limited when it comes to natural, sustainable homemade products I was once accustomed to, I began my soap adventures and research. Having obtained B.SC in Pharmaceutical Science from the Ohio State University and a world of knowledge passed from my parents, Roses Natural was born.

Combining my passion for natural products and my expertise in scientific knowledge, I built my business ground-up with a steady base of family and friends who loved my products and spread the word to make Roses Natural a reality.

Protecting a healthy environment, offering natural alternatives, and creating a positive impact is at the core of everything I do. Natural and Plant-based products are better for your health, your home, and the world as a whole.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?

It has been a very challenging and exciting experience. I handmade all the products sold at Roses Natural from scratch. Currently, Roses Natural has a total of 68 products that vary from Plant-based household cleaners to organic skincare products. I am constantly formulating, packaging and shipping to my customers near and far. I also have a great team that gets the job done with a lot of love and supervision every step of the way.

We are a small group but we provide excellent customer services by carefully packaging orders, assisting customers via phone, with online orders and following up with email correspondence on daily basis which can be very challenging. I consider myself a very passionate and hardworking mother. I establish and formulate various unique products. I formulate clean, non-toxic, eco-friendly, Plant-based products for homes and businesses.

However, as a wife, mom of 3 lovely kids, an employee, an employer, and a business owner, juggling my various roles can be demanding, I have managed it because I enjoy what I do and how I make people feel after using my products. Making a difference one home at a time is my priority. Flexibility is just one of my magic keys to success.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?

Roses Natural was created based on passion, understanding, and commitment. We are a Plant-based household cleaers and Skincare products that were started in my kitchen and now we operated from a warehouse.

The idea is to create products that are good for us and safe for the environment.
