Hi Ruslan, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started a small appliance repair company in San Jose, CA. In just eight years, it has grown from a one-man operation into a nationwide giant, specializing in HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing services. During the early years, we opened our first franchise branch in Houston, Texas. We are proud to support our franchisees as they grow and learn with us through our guidance.
Currently, Fuse Service has expanded to 40 locations across the United States. At our headquarters in San Jose, we have grown to over 200 employees. In addition to FUSE and Fuse Franchising, we have launched Fuse School to train aspiring HVAC technicians, electricians, and plumbers, and Fuse Club to connect individuals running home service businesses across the U.S.
My plans include further expanding Fuse Service so that every state in the U.S. has a branch. As always, I remain committed to my belief that the company’s primary mission is to provide the highest quality service to our customers and the best quality of life to FUSE employees.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No interesting road is smooth so ours wasn’t either. One of the biggest hits of the recent years when we lost our main lead generator to a misunderstanding. We used to find most customers on Yelp, and at some point our page there was banned for a year during our busiest season. At first we were shocked but we quickly recovered, and this experience taught us a lot. For example, that we need to diversify our advertising channels and we have been doing that ever since.
