Today we’d like to introduce you to Selena Wilson
Hi selena, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I completed my Class A CDL in April of 2023. This was a missed opportunity almost 12 years ago when I withdrew from my trucking academy in Atlanta due to personal reasons. Now in 2025 I have taken the transition from a company truck driver to a single unit owner operator of my transportation company, 2nd to none logistics LLC. . I have always aspired for full time entrepreneurship and once again I have created yet another business venture. I have pivoted from my clothing brand Already Dope to focus on generating revenue and a profit margin where I can go back to investing in that business model. As a newly formed transportation company, I have traveled over 30 states and have hauled goods in a 53ft dry van trailer across the United States and New Mexico. I plan on working in the business for another year and then hiring a professional driver enabling me to scale my trucking company and purchase a second truck. I have learned to stay diligent in my pursuit of creating generational wealth. I hope to keep others inspired by my willingness to succeed as I climb the ladder of success.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Being an entrepreneur is not easy. I have faced challenges from weather conditions that cause delays and the low freight rates that cause revenue gaps. I have been persistent in following the industry and forecasting the market to ensure a profitable quarter.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I am an Owner Operator of a small trucking company. I would later like to offer freight forwarding services and dispatch assistance to carriers and owner operators. I’m set a part from others because I don’t allow complacency to set limitations on anything I have achieved in my life. I am most proud of myself for staying consistent and connected to my faith. I am thankful for the many opportunities the Lord has provided and despite the many obstacles and failures I have faced, I became a better version of myself. I take pride in knowing that I will not be defeated no matter what I am presented with on my journey to becoming the first millionaire in my family.

I really enjoyed reading Think again by Adam Grant. I’m always reading, researching, and a student to all new information and mentorship.
