Hi Shannon, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
It all started with a film camera — and a love for my grandmother’s hallway.
From a shy girl who moved a lot (from California to Indonesia), to a full time working mom with a background in business, advertising and marketing… somehow I found my path to this successful photography business.
Today, I’m thankful, and I know how blessed I am to get to work with, teach, and photograph beautiful souls like you.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Someone once told me that I take pretty pictures, but just taking pretty pictures doesn’t always create the income you need to quit your day job.
When I first started my business, I honestly just didn’t know where to begin. I was all over the place with learning and wished I had someone to help guide me to my goal… which was learning how to run a photography studio that made a profit and was successful.
And now that I’m here, I’ve made a program just for photographers like I was… who may need a little extra help in the right direction.

Hi! I’m Shannon, and I’m so glad you’re here! As a Houston, Texas, family photographer and busy mom of 3, I know how fast time goes by; I know that those tiny toes and sweet smiles grow up faster than we want them to.

My goal is to create precious keepsake portraits that you can pass down to your babies… and their babies. I can’t wait for your session!
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I’m not a risk-taker, although starting my own business was a huge risk.
I tend to lean more toward the “safe” side of things, but when it came to my photography business, my heart was bigger than my head, leading me to the successful studio I have today.
