Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Suchon.
Hi Stephanie, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
A deep desire to be a Licensed Professional Counselor was birthed in quite some time ago so in 2012 I decided to go back to school to pursue my Masters in Professional Counseling. Upon graduation I began working in the Intake Dept. of a psychiatric hospital. I also spent time as a Child & Adolescents Therapist in an Outpatient IOP program. I have experience working as a Mobile Crisis Unit Therapist & Auditor. I decided to take a leap of faith during the early stages of the COVID pandemic when I left my full-time job to join a group private practice. Two years after that, I took my biggest leap of faith yet when I opened my own private practice in Tomball.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t always been a smooth ride and there have been challenges along the way, but I would not go back and change anything. I have grown tremendously throughout the journey of building my practice and by God’s grace I have been put in a position to impact many lives and offer hope, healing, and solutions.

My Christian faith is the foundation of my practice. I offer Christ-centered therapy for those that desire this to be apart of their sessions. For those that don’t, I offer many other practical avenues of therapy to help them navigate towards healing. My passion is to work with married couples and/or blended families. I also work with individuals with struggles such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, childhood/adult trauma, etc.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
As I mentioned, my faith in the Lord is my compass. Integrity, compassion, empathy and a non-judgment are core to who I am as a person and how I approach my clients.
