Today we’d like to introduce you to Trisha Stetzel.
Hi Trisha, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My story really begins with a sense of duty to serve something bigger than myself.
I enlisted in the U.S. Navy, and those years shaped everything about how I lead today. The discipline, the resilience, the unwavering commitment to the people beside you are not just military values, they are leadership values. When I transitioned out of the military, I carried all of that into corporate America, where I spent years building high-performing teams and creating the kinds of scalable systems that help organizations actually grow.
My journey into entrepreneurship started in 2007 when I bought and built my first business, Fetch! Pet Care of Clearlake. Entrepreneurship gets in your blood, and I have never been someone who does things halfway. Along the way, I realized my greatest impact was not just in building businesses. It was in developing the people inside them. That realization led me to launch my coaching practice in 2015, which today operates as ResultsXtreme powered by Focal Point of South Texas. As a Master Business Coach and Brian Tracy Certified Trainer, I partner with leaders and teams across industries to close performance gaps, strengthen communication, and build the trust that makes everything else possible.
My “why” runs deep and it is personal. I am a veteran, wife, daughter, and mother of veterans. Service is not a chapter of my life. It is the thread woven through every single page. That is why I am proud to serve as Chairman of the Board for the Houston Regional Veterans Chamber of Commerce, championing veteran-owned businesses and helping fellow vets find their footing in entrepreneurship.
I am also a published author of “Business Secrets from the Battlefield to the Boardroom” (2023), a number one best seller, and “Six Figure Chicks Houston” (2025), a number one best seller and number one international best seller. I also host Houston Business Radio, a podcast dedicated to amplifying local leaders and sparking real conversations about growth. Because I believe leadership is not just about boardrooms. It is about communities.
This is where am I today. I am exactly where I am supposed to be, doing work that matters, alongside people who are ready to rise.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
One of the biggest misconceptions people have about entrepreneurship and leadership is that if you are good at what you do, the road becomes smooth. It does not. Every season brings a new level of challenge, and I have certainly had my share.
Transitioning from military life into corporate leadership came with its own identity shifts. In the Navy, structure and mission are clear. In business, especially entrepreneurship, there are moments where you have to create clarity while navigating uncertainty yourself. Building businesses while balancing family, leadership responsibilities, and community commitments has required an incredible amount of discipline and resilience.
Like many entrepreneurs, I have experienced setbacks, difficult decisions, financial pressures, and moments of self-doubt. There were seasons where I was pouring into everyone else while quietly running on empty myself. Leadership can feel lonely sometimes, especially when people look to you to always have the answers.
One of the greatest challenges has been learning that growth is not just about strategy. It is about mindset. I had to learn how to stop tying my value to productivity and instead lead from a place of authenticity, trust, and service. That lesson changed everything for me personally and professionally.
Another challenge has been helping people understand the true value of coaching and leadership development. Many organizations wait until communication breaks down or performance suffers before investing in their people. I have spent years advocating for proactive leadership, stronger workplace culture, and the idea that businesses grow when people grow.
At the same time, every obstacle has reinforced my purpose. The military taught me resilience. Entrepreneurship taught me adaptability. Coaching taught me empathy. And all of it together taught me that success is not about avoiding hard things. It is about becoming stronger, wiser, and more grounded because of them.
I would not change the journey because every challenge shaped the leader I am today.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
We are a business coaching and leadership development firm dedicated to helping business owners, executives, sales professionals, and leadership teams improve performance, strengthen communication, and achieve sustainable growth.
We specialize in leadership coaching, executive coaching, sales training, strategic planning, and team development. We work with organizations across a variety of industries, helping leaders identify performance gaps, improve accountability, increase profitability, and create healthier workplace cultures. What makes our work different is that we focus on both the business strategy and the human side of leadership, because one simply does not succeed without the other.
I often say that businesses grow when people grow. Many companies already have talented individuals in place, but they struggle with communication breakdowns, lack of alignment, unclear expectations, or leadership bottlenecks. Our role is to help leaders and teams move from reactive to intentional by building trust, clarity, and systems that actually support growth.
What sets us apart is the combination of real-world leadership experience and practical execution. My background in the U.S. Navy, corporate leadership, entrepreneurship, and coaching allows me to bring a grounded, results-oriented perspective to the work. I understand leadership under pressure, operational efficiency, team dynamics, and the realities business owners face every day. I am not coaching from theory alone. I coach from lived experience.
We are also deeply relationship-driven. Coaching is not about giving generic advice or motivational sound bites. It is about asking the right questions, uncovering blind spots, and helping leaders create measurable, lasting change. Every client engagement is customized because every business and every leader is different.
One area I am especially proud of is our work supporting veteran entrepreneurs and leaders. Service has always been a defining part of my life, and that commitment extends into our business today. Through my role as Chairman of the Board for the Houston Regional Veterans Chamber of Commerce, I have the privilege of helping veteran-owned businesses grow, connect, and thrive within the Houston business community.
ResultsXtreme has become known for authenticity, accountability, and transformational leadership development. We are not interested in surface-level success. We help people build stronger businesses while becoming stronger leaders in the process.
Leadership development is not reserved for large corporations. Small businesses, entrepreneurs, and growing teams deserve support too. Investing in leadership, communication, and culture is one of the most powerful decisions any organization can make, because it impacts everything from employee engagement to customer relationships to long-term profitability.
At the end of the day, our mission is simple: help leaders lead better, communicate better, and create businesses and cultures where people can truly thrive.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
The leadership development and business coaching industry is going to experience massive transformation over the next five to ten years, and we are already seeing it happen in real time. The biggest shift will be the integration of AI and technology into leadership, communication, and workforce development. Organizations are moving faster than ever, and leaders are being asked to navigate constant change, hybrid work environments, workforce burnout, and evolving employee expectations all at the same time.
What is interesting is that while technology will continue to accelerate, the demand for human-centered leadership is actually going to increase, not decrease. AI can automate processes and improve efficiency, but it cannot replace emotional intelligence, trust-building, empathy, critical thinking, or authentic communication. The leaders who succeed in the future will be the ones who know how to combine technology with strong people skills.
Leadership coaching will also become less reactive and far more proactive. Historically, many companies invested in coaching only when there was a problem, whether poor communication, low performance, or leadership conflict. Over the next decade, organizations will increasingly view coaching and leadership development as essential business infrastructure rather than an optional investment. Companies are realizing that culture, communication, and leadership directly impact retention, productivity, innovation, and profitability.
Another major shift will be around workforce adaptability. The pace of change is so rapid that leaders can no longer rely solely on experience or technical expertise. They must become lifelong learners who can lead through uncertainty, manage change effectively, and help teams stay engaged in fast-moving environments. Hybrid and remote work models are also forcing leaders to rethink how they build trust, accountability, and connection with distributed teams.
We are also going to see a stronger focus on leadership wellness and sustainable performance. Burnout among executives, managers, and teams is very real. Organizations are starting to recognize that high performance without healthy leadership is not sustainable long term. The future of leadership will require more authenticity, emotional resilience, and servant leadership than ever before.
One of the most exciting trends is that leadership development is becoming more accessible. Small businesses, entrepreneurs, and emerging leaders now have greater access to coaching, training, and development resources that were once reserved for large corporations. That democratization of leadership development has the potential to create stronger businesses and stronger communities everywhere.
The future does not belong to leaders who simply know the most. It belongs to leaders who can adapt, communicate clearly, build trust, and bring out the best in people while navigating constant change. That human element will always matter most.
