Xaviera, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Mindset Changed Apparel was established in July of 2021 after I experienced a life-changing journey that came with a great lesson. During the pandemic, I was forced to work my 8-5 job from home which allowed me to do a self-evaluation and start a healthy weight loss journey. After accomplishing my weight loss goals, I realized the key to success and finding God’s purpose for your life starts with a made of mind, lots of prayers, and faith. Along with a changed mindset, you find consistency, confidence, determination, and the strength to keep going. My faith in God has always been very strong due to being raised in the church with a grandmother as an Apostle and parents who were ministers; however, I lacked confidence in myself. Mindset Changed Apparel was created to inspire, motivate and encourage Christians to change their mindset and involve God in their life in order to walk into the purpose God has for them.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. As an entrepreneur or on any life journey, you expect support from family and friends who don’t meet those expectations, and sometimes that can be discouraging. I have learned to not focus on the support but keep Christ as the CEO of my business and the support will come from others. Since MCA is a new business and I have not reached the point of being a full-time entrepreneur, I can get overwhelmed with my 8-5 job, college classes, and my faith-based business but I know that I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me. I have confidence in Christ that one day I will be a full-time business owner.

Mindset Changed Apparel is a faith-based clothing brand designed to inspire, motivate and encourage Christians to change their mindset and involve God in their life in order to walk into the purpose God has for them. One day we hope to be a popular Christian brand used by Christian influencers to provide motivation to others while discovering their purpose.
The best life you can have is the life that God planned for you to have. We all are created for a certain purpose and it’s up to us to walk into the purpose God has for us in order to be successful. Sometimes we feel lost and confused about what our purpose is in life and the main reason is that our mindset is filled with negative thoughts that hold us back. When we think negatively, we speak negatively which results in living a life of fear, confusion, doubt, unhappiness, and dead ends.
Mindset Changed Apparel’s goal is to create positive thinkers so they can find their purpose and experience the life of success God has for them. This is why our designs are created with positive affirmations, sayings, and quotes to remind you that you are everything God called you to be!
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
My relationship with Jesus is the most important when it comes to my business’ success. Philippians 4:6-7 says “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand.”
