Our Grandma Hair Butter was created with the loving memory of my Grandmother , Rose in mind. As a child she greased my scalp to decrease dryness and itching every week. Those are memories I will forever cherish. It’s formulated with natural oils and butters such as mango butter, grapeseed oil, which provide moisture and soothe itch along with hibiscus which is packed with vitamin C, encouraging hair growth. This is for my kinky, coily, curly girls that need some extra TLC on their scalp and hair. Grandma’s, Hair Butter pairs perfectly with our other nutritious hair care available on our website!

How do you maintain quality and consistency even as you grow and scale?
How I show up for my customers id d of high priority to me! I will them to feel I touch with me, a real person, who is here to serve them the best. Community is important and the Asili Creations Community is a big family. We encourage a judgement free zone where women care share their frustration with life, love, motherhood and their successes in all the above. It’s more than just hair with us. Hair is an extension of you that we help keep healthy.

Is there a core message, value or ethos you are trying to communicate through your branding and marketing?
Yes, its simply to take care of your hair with natural, Ayurvedic products instead of harsh chemicals that could affect your health. With more and more reports flooding the media about the connection to harsh chemicals in hair products, especially those targeted to the women with kinky hair, it’s more important now to look for natural alternatives that bring out the beauty in you, however you choose to show up to the work!

What’s next on the product or brand roadmap?
By popular demand, we have just released two new hair masks designed to strengthen hair and is made for all hair types. One is a Hibiscus Hair mask And the other is Amla Hair mask. Both hair mask are made up organic herbal powders that you can totally customize at home to fit your scalp in here needs. It is approaching being the number one selling product on our website!
