Today we’d like to introduce you to Abigail Munoz.
Hi Abigail, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
It all started when I was relieving a coworker on her lunch break. She mentioned that she was late upon returning to work because she had a wax appointment. I asked what she got waxed since I didn’t visibly see a difference and she told me she got a brazilian wax. I did not know at the time, of the magical things this could do to your skin. I was intrigued and booked an appointment for myself. I loved it as soon as I tried it. I enrolled into Estie School and here I am four years later running my own Small Business as a solo licensed esthetician.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Absolutely not, running a business is not for everyone. Some of the obstacles would be time and money management. No one is above you telling you what to do, and you’re not asking anyone for permission. It is all on you.
As you know, we’re big fans of Vibra Bonita Aesthetics, LLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Vibra Bonita means a pretty vibe. I am a Latina owned small business who offers facial and waxing services for men and women. I take pride in the fact that my clients feel comfortable with me with their skin and most personal stories. I am a place where they can indulge in self care and relax. My clients know that I offer a listening ear and want the best for them in health and wellness. I encourage my clients to love themselves and care for them selves. It is an honor to serve and pamper my client.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I have been told that I am a very bubbly person since I was a child. I’ve seen people I went to elementary school with and have been told that I am still the same. It warms my heart to know that they remember me the same, how I am now.
