Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexandra Stewart.
Hi Alexandra, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always worked a traditional 9–5, but deep down I knew my true desire was to eventually work for myself. I’ve always felt there was more I was meant to do in life, and I wanted the freedom of being my own boss.
My journey began in 2017 when I started doing taxes while working for a company. After two years of learning and building confidence, I branched out on my own and launched my mobile notary and tax service company. Inspired by my dad, who often spoke about the benefits of real estate, I pursued my real estate license and began my career there. That opened the door to the insurance industry, where I am now licensed in life & health as well as newly licensed in home & auto insurance.
While I didn’t expect to end up offering services across multiple industries, I’ve found that they all connect and complement one another. Honestly, I still amaze myself with how far I’ve come and what all I’ve accomplished. My bigger vision is not only to create stability for myself but also to create jobs and opportunities for my loved ones. Beyond that, I want to provide opportunities for people who may have been counted out or overlooked because of their race, socioeconomic status, or background.
The road hasn’t always been smooth, but I know in my heart that this is my purpose, and I’m committed to continuing this journey until I reach my destination.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has not been easy. Some days are harder than others doubt creeps in and I question whether I can do this on my own. There are so many other business owners in my field that I sometimes feel like a tiny fish in a huge ocean, and I worry about how my business will get noticed. I’m the first in my family to take on ventures of this size, so much of it has been trial and error and learning as I go. That can feel lonely, especially when people in my circle don’t understand the challenges or know how to help. I get discouraged and want to give up, but my faith is bigger than any disappointment. That faith and the vision I have for creating opportunities for my family and for people who’ve been overlooked keeps me moving forward.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about VNT Professional Services?
I am a Mobile Tax & Notary professional with 8 years of experience, and I’ve proudly run my own company for 6 years. I’m also a newly licensed insurance agent, licensed to sell Life, Health, Auto, and Homeowner’s insurance. In addition, I’m a licensed Real Estate Agent under Ford Realty Group & Property Management. You could say I’m a jack of all trades but the common thread in everything I do is my passion for helping people.
I never knew in what capacity I would serve, but the service fields I’ve chosen allow me to do exactly that. For me, it’s not about the money it’s about making a difference and helping change people’s lives. That’s what sets me apart.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud that everything I’ve built represents trust, service, and opportunity. My brand isn’t about just one service it’s about creating a network of resources that meet people where they are and truly support them in different areas of their lives. I stepped out on faith, started from the ground up, and built something that reflects my values of integrity, resilience, and empowerment.
What sets me apart from others is the personal connection I bring. I’ve built my business on trust and care. When clients work with me whether for taxes, notary services, real estate, or insurance they know they’re not just checking a box. They’re partnering with someone who is committed to their success, their security, and their future. My approach is personal, faith-driven, and rooted in integrity. That’s what makes my services different, and that’s what I want people to feel every time they work with me.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Something surprising that most people who know me or my work might not know is that I’m naturally very shy. I’ve always been more comfortable behind the scenes than in the spotlight. Stepping into entrepreneurship really pushed me out of my comfort zone and forced me to build confidence not just in myself, but in what I offer and how I serve people. Many people see the services I provide today and assume I’ve always been outgoing or fearless, but the truth is, it’s been a journey of growth and faith that brought me here
