Today we’d like to introduce you to Amber Butaud.
Hi Amber, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I have been married for 21 years and have 2 children (son) Stratton 21 and (daughter) Aspen 17. We live in The Woodlands Texas. I have a degree in Communications along with being board certified in Christain Counseling and an associate’s degree in interior design. I have been a Christain Counselor for 13 years and have done interior design for 18 years.
I have run a non-profit effort for the last 10 years in Uganda building a church, hospital, children’s home, farm, tailoring school, sports teams, and a mega-church in Kampala. I have many stories that I could fill in here but I think it would be best to do a phone call to see what approach is best for your publication. In recent years, I have ventured into the entertainment industry.
Amber Butaud is the founder and owner of 4 The One Studio as well as the Executive Producer and owner of No Judgment Media in Houston, TX. Amber has produced numerous short films one of them being “Vision of Change- Moses Onyango”. This short was filmed in Uganda where her philanthropic efforts of building churches, hospitals, and children’s homes were fulfilled.
In 2022, Amber was a Producer on the film “The Life of Me”, starring Brian White and Danielle Nicolet, now in post-production. Co-producing with Pryor Entertainment, Amber has four films in development, “Pale Horse”, “The Life of Me”, “Lost Sons”, “Crazy Love”, and “I’m Okay”. Faith has led Butaud on her path.
Butaud’s passion for bringing uplifting, encouraging, and inspiring stories to the world drives her to a selection of IP for No Judgment Media. NJM recently optioned Richard Dane Scott’s “Journey of the Tumbleweed”, which scored a 10 out of 10 on the Blacklist. Butaud has also optioned the life rights of Legendary Rodeo Star, Fred Whitfield, and is in development on a stellar feature film entitled “Gold Buckles Don’t Lie”, based on the novel penned by Fred Whitfield.
Butaud is also in development with multiple podcast projects from her studio. Before embarking on her film journey, Butaud was an established counselor, author, and speaker. Amber and her husband Casey have owned and operated Stratton Development & Construction and Black Label Commercial Group for over 20 years- building a thriving real estate company in Houston, TX.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Life is never smooth, many obstacles get in the way of achieving your dreams and desires. Depending on the story we choose to tell it will have different struggles. One of the largest struggles has been raising my children and balancing my achievements. Also being able to stand firm against all the roadblocks that you face as you move closer to your finish line and being able to persistently pursue your end goal without wavering.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
When it comes to the studio, what matters the most to me is creating a positive space to create goodness and to build a community that supports one another to cultivate their God-given abilities and creativity. In my personal life what matters most to me is my faith I’m a strong believer in who I call my main man or my best friend, Jesus. I believe our relationship with him gives us the fundamentals to be the light amid this struggling world we live in.
Also, what matters to me is that we love each other unconditionally because I believe in the ripple effect. I believe that if we give goodness to just one person they can spread the goodness to others and with that, we could cause a ripple effect that could change the world. “I truly believe that if we all take the time to listen to one another’s stories, we will find that we have more in common than we think. And that changes the world one connection at a time”.
