Hidden Gems: Meet Audia Jones of Law Office of Audia Jones PC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Audia Jones.

Hi Audia, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started my journey on the basketball court. I attended the University of Rhode Island on a full Division I scholarship and earned my degree in Business Management. Before college, I spent a year working at a personal-injury law firm and interning for a Connecticut state judge—experiences that opened my eyes to the impact the legal system has on everyday people.

I carried those lessons with me to Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law, where I earned an academic scholarship and graduated magna cum laude. From there, my commitment to public service led me to the United States District Court for D.C. as a Summer Law Clerk, and then to Capitol Hill as a Counsel Fellow for the Late Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee. I eventually became a Congressional Staffer managing the House Judiciary Committee portfolio.

After returning to Texas, I served as an Assistant District Attorney in Harris County, rising to Senior Felony Prosecutor. That experience—combined with my run for Harris County District Attorney—showed me first hand how deeply both the criminal and civil systems affect our most vulnerable communities.

Today, I focus my practice on representing people who have been harmed by the reckless indifference and negligence. My many life experiences have allowed me to observe inequities up close. That’s what fuels my determination to fight for fairness, hold wrongdoers accountable, and secure the best possible results for my clients. My path hasn’t been traditional, but every step has strengthened my purpose: to be a champion for change.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not at all—but every challenge shaped who I am today. As a Division I basketball player, I battled multiple injuries, long travel schedules, and the reality of missing classes, which showed in my undergraduate grades. But those setbacks taught me resilience and discipline. When I reached law school, I committed fully, graduated magna cum laude, and went on to pass both the Texas and Maryland bars. The road wasn’t smooth, but it prepared me to excel under pressure, overcome adversity, and advocate fiercely for others.

As you know, we’re big fans of Law Office of Audia Jones PC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
My firm is a women-owned and women-operated wrongful death and personal injury practice dedicated to standing up for families whose lives have been shattered by someone else’s carelessness. We focus primarily on wrongful death and 18-wheeler accident cases—situations where the stakes are incredibly high and the losses are life-changing. Over the years, we’ve secured millions in settlements for clients who have lost spouses, children, and loved ones in preventable tragedies.

What sets us apart is not just our results, but our approach. As a team of women, we bring a unique blend of strength, empathy, intuition, and strategy to every case. Our clients often tell us that they feel truly seen, heard, and supported—something that matters deeply when you’re navigating devastating grief or overwhelming injury.

We are known for thorough case preparation, fearless advocacy, and a relentless commitment to accountability. We don’t cut corners. We don’t rush cases. We build them meticulously, treat our clients like family, and take on trucking companies, corporations, and insurance carriers with the full power of our litigation team.

Brand-wise, I am most proud that our identity is rooted in purpose. Our work is about restoring dignity, creating change, and making sure no family has to fight alone. We want readers to know that when you come to our firm, you aren’t just hiring lawyers—you’re gaining a dedicated team that will stand with you, guide you, and fight for the justice your loved one deserves.

Our services include wrongful death litigation, 18-wheeler and commercial vehicle accidents, serious injury cases, and advocacy for individuals harmed by negligence. Ultimately, our brand stands for compassion backed by excellence, and advocacy grounded in real results.

What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me will always begin with my husband and children—they are my foundation, my motivation, and the reason I show up fully in every chapter of my life. But professionally, what matters most is the mission behind my practice and the people who make that mission possible: my incredible law firm team and the clients who trust us during the hardest moments of their lives.

I lead an all–women-owned and operated personal injury firm, and what matters to me is creating a space where talented women can thrive, lead, and redefine what strong, compassionate advocacy looks like. My team pours their hearts into every case. Their dedication, brilliance, and resilience are a daily reminder that excellence is not just a goal—it’s our standard.

And above all, our clients matter. Many come to us after losing a child, spouse, or loved one because of someone else’s carelessness. Others are survivors of catastrophic 18-wheeler crashes trying to rebuild their lives. They trust us with stories marked by tragedy, and what matters most is honoring that trust with empathy, integrity, and relentless representation. Securing millions in settlements is meaningful, but what truly drives me is knowing that we helped restore dignity, stability, and hope for families when they needed it most.

So, what matters most? My family at home, my family within the firm, and the families we serve. They are the reason I pursue justice with so much passion—and the reason this work will always be more than a career. It’s a calling.
