Today we’d like to introduce you to Brian Ganhs
Hi Brian, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
It all started when I first got out of high school. I never wanted to go to college so I started looking for work. I was having trouble finding a job but there was a guy at the church I was attending who was looking for help.
He asked me if I wanted to work and I said yes. I started remodeling apartments the next day. That’s where I really found my passion for construction and remodeling. We did everything framing, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, flooring, bathrooms, kitchens, you name it.
After that I moved around job wise a little bit, learned more of the business side as well as got some more experience under my belt.
From there I opened my own company Resurrected Reconstruction. Working for others I seen how they took advantage of their clients, they didn’t treat them fairly and just looked out for themselves and that never sat well with me. I made it my business to be open and honest with every customer and make sure they were always in the loop, that they felt respected, heard, and cared about especially while working on their project.
It’s also just something about seeing someone who sees this eye sore in their home whether, it’s a kitchen or bathroom, painting, or flooring etc and they can’t see the vision of what that space can be but we come in and afterwards their proud of their home and it’s a place they want to live and enjoy. That’s why our slogan is we can take what looks dead and make it alive again.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I don’t think the road is ever smooth for a business owner or entrepreneur. There are high moments and there are lows but you have to enjoy the process and know that God is faithful and with him all things are possible. I can honestly say without God and my wife I probably would have gave up on business.
In the world of construction it’s always changing, new businesses, new technology’s, new codes and requirements. There is a lot of research and study that has to take place.
As you know, we’re big fans of Resurrected Reconstruction . For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Resurrected Reconstruction has been in business for 6 years now. We are a remodel company now in Spring Tx. We specialize in bathrooms and kitchens but we do all types of work. From handyman jobs to big remodels. Mostly residential but we do some commercial.
We are known for quality work at a good price. I’m not saying we’re the cheapest but we’re definitely not the most expensive and you get what you pay for. We are proud that we can make our clients love their homes and spaces again. To help them see the vision on a space that they once seen as an eyesore. Making what looked dead come alive again! We treat all our clients with respect and keep them in the loop. No drop off communication, no unknowns.
We want our customers and future customers to know that what you want isn’t impossible. You can make your space look amazing no matter how big or small your budget is. That there are still people who are out here that will do the job and do it right. That you can feel proud and happy with your space when the job is completed.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
Construction is always changing, there are new products that come out daily, weekly, monthly, yearly. In construction the sky is the limit. We have seen the housing market shift so work should continue to pick up as long as the economy doesn’t change.
