Hi Ces, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’m 64 years old, so I have a long story…
My real estate adventure began in 2012 with the licensing process… I was officially licensed in February of 2013. I hit a little stumbling block out of the gate with a small brokerage, where I didn’t get much training and the business was going nowhere. However, after making the change over to Better Homes & Gardens – Gary Greene, the business took off. I was a solid individual producer until 2019 when I formed my own team, The Guerra Group. As the journey continues, by the time you’re reading this I will have made the transfer to my new firm, Douglas Elliman – Houston. The move will enhance my value proposition to my clients in the Tanglewood neighborhood.
My focus has been the residential real estate market where I help my clients buy and sell their homes. While I primarily advertise and focus in the Tanglewood/Uptown/Memorial areas, I will help clients throughout the Houston Metro area. My transactions have been all over the Harris and Montgomery County primarily from The Woodlands, to League City and from Fulshear to Cypress!
I love the analytical and strategical components associated with helping clients acquiring their homes. My clients range from first-time home buyers to those that are downsizing, upsizing, relocating, and investing! Every client is different, and every transaction is different, so I remain flexible to help the client in the specific situation as it presents itself. With an option-based approach, my guidance reflects what the clients specific needs are and what options are available to accomplish the result.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
As I mentioned, my first experience with the first brokerage I was a bit of a struggle. I didn’t know what I needed to know, so I transferred to BHGRE – GG. The move to Douglas Elliman – Houston is designed to catapult the real estate experience for both my clients and myself by bringing in an all-new level of expertise and luxury branding to the table. Fluctuating and complex market factors require the ability to “roll with the punches”. The move to Douglas Elliman – Houston, will definitely catapult my ability to support client needs in an entirely new & contemporary fashion.

I’ve lived in Tanglewood for 16 years and specialize in neighborhood luxury listings, and with the support of my new brokerage I’ll penetrate the Tanglewood and surrounding neighborhoods like never before! Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
I was not distracted by the crisis. I stayed focused on my clients and helping them. Real estate and Realtors were designated as essential workers, so we had the leeway to move about and work. I took full advantage of that, and it paid off for my clients with outstanding results!
