Today we’d like to introduce you to Christina Letsinger.
Hi Christina, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started planning my business right after I graduated from Prairie View with my Masters in Business. I started researching than completing my business plan to actually starting to bring everything to life. It’s really hard to say everything that I been through to get to this point but the main thing is dedication and determination.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not every part of this process was rough. From the commercial lease to permits to obtaining a liquor permit. Nothing was easy.
We’ve been impressed with Sip And Sweets Daiquiri Bar, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am 26 years old and currently the youngest bar owner in the state of Texas. My bar offers frozen/nonfrozen alcoholic beverages and also non-alcoholic drinks so I am a child-friendly establishment. Please let me know if you need any additional information. My bar is different than any other daiquiri bar because I offer liquid daiquiris that are my own special recipes. It also a very unique and upscale environment that is inviting and makes people want to stay and have a drink.
The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
First, patience is key to everything. I don’t know why it’s so hard but once you embrace having patience and take the time to work on it, life becomes a little easier. Covid-19 has also made me appreciate life and time a lot more.
