Hi Debra, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
When i graduated High School it was during covid time and I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life, going to college just seemed so hard the way everything was shut down. I decided to become a dental assistant but I hated it, I told myself I needed to go back to school so I decided to go to Esthetician School. It took about 7 months to complete but once I had finished I still had no idea what I wanted to specialize in. I did everything from Nails, Teeth Whitening, to Lash extensions. Till one day I decided to try out Brows and I fell in love! It wasn’t easy, I had 0 clients and no models. I started asking friends and family if I could do their brows for free and ended up growing my portfolio. One thing led to another and I started getting more booked and busy. I opened my Small Office and that was when I registered “DLE Aesthetics”. I never thought in a million years id have my own business. 18 year old me would be very shocked and proud.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road, its very hard when you have no clientele. The key is to have faith and be consistent. Any time I get a client I record everything, I learned that everything you post is content and people enjoy it. Some struggles along the way was when I decided to quit my Full Time job to officially do Brows Full Time. I was very miserable and depressed at my FulL Time Job and I knew brows was something I really wanted to do. When I left I was barely making enough for my bills, I started second guessing everything and was wondering if I should just get a job and forget having a business. Im grateful I have a good support system, My Mom and Boyfriend both pushed me to continue and keep fighting through the struggles and it ended up being the best thing I ever did.

For anyone who is curious on what these services are, Brow Laminations are the soapy trendy brows that will last you 6 weeks! Tint/ Henna will last you around 2-3 weeks.
Lash lifts is for anyone who doesn’t like to wear lash extensions or wants to take a break from extensions. Your lashes will be curled for up to 6 weeks.
Ombre Powder Brows is for anyone who does not want to waste time in the morning to fill in, or do anything to their brows. We customize everyone’s brows to the clients liking and make sure clients have the option to choose wether they want the make up brow look or natural brow look. These brows will last anywhere from 2-3 years.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
One surprising thing that most people might not know about me and DLE Aesthetics is that I didn’t come from a business background, I built everything from scratch through self-teaching, trial and error, and pure determination. When I first started, I had no idea I would end up not only offering beauty services but also teaching and mentoring other women to start their own businesses. I was able to retire my mom and now she helps me run my business and trainings.
