Hi Donna, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’ve always known I’d want to be an entrepreneur of some sort. Since high school I’ve gone through being a custom apparel designer (Making t-shirts, hoodies, etc. Photographer and Graphic Designer. All of which I succeeded and I still do run those businesses; however, Eyelash extensions have been the one that had really grasped my full attention and is something that I truly admire doing. I started back in November 2020 by purchasing a beginner kit and watching endless Youtube videos and practicing the craft. Once I felt like “Oh yeah, I can do this,” I went ahead and got with an instructor to answer any other questions I had and to certify me.
Today in 2021, I have successfully kicked off my business, Gaining clientele each and everyday. It brings me much joy to take part in making girls and women feel so great about themselves. My favorite part of lashing is watching my client pick up that mirror and instantly fall in love with themselves! It’s a feeling I never want to stop feeling!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
So far, so good! Once I put my all into something and I am determined to make it move, it usually is smooth sailing. Although I’ve have no struggles getting up, I am definitely prepared for any obstacles to come along the way. “Pray for the best but prepare for the worst” is what my mom always told me, so I am doing just that.

I am a Certified Lash Tech based in Houston, Texas. I specialize in making women feel better through lash extensions. What sets me apart from others is my drive to be great. Everything I do I do 100%.
What are your plans for the future?
I am looking forward to growing my business. Eventually, I would like to have a storefront and be just as big as Amazing Lash Studio.
