Greg, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Born and raised in Amarillo, Texas, I always had a deep connection to service and community. After proudly serving six years in the United States Marine Corps, I knew my next mission had to be equally impactful. That’s what led me to the mortgage industry, where I’ve spent the last 16+ years helping people achieve one of the biggest goals in life—homeownership.
As a veteran myself, I have a unique understanding of the challenges fellow service members and first-time homebuyers face when navigating the lending landscape. I specialize in offering a wide range of loan options—whether it’s VA, FHA, or conventional, DSCR loans, every loan is tailored specifically to my clients’ needs.
With experience across four states, Texas, Florida, Missouri, and Virginia; I’ve built my career on a foundation of trust, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to my clients. Whether you’re buying your first home or expanding your investment portfolio or consolidating debt, my mission is to guide you through the process smoothly, ensuring you have all the tools and options available to succeed.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
LOL! That is hilarious! No, it has not been a smooth road, but I know that it always works out for the Best as long as you are always putting in the work and have people’s best interest at heart. Everything happens for a reason and in the right season. My faith is strong, and I have needed it, for sure. I have had multiple business ‘over the years, several different industries and business partners, one that died on me and one that deserted me, lol. I have been through divorce and bankruptcy. It has all made me stronger and wiser! I grew up in a very well-off family as an adopted child and been carless and for a short period homeless. I am an Eternal Optimist; I know God has my back and I know I am here to help my family and others; in order to do that I have to be successful. There are so many more crazy stories

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
We are a mortgage broker and correspondent lender. We have access to over a hundred different lenders, raw rates (meaning the best rates) and every type of loan program. It is difficult for any 1 person to be an expert at every loan type, so we have loan advisors internally that handle certain loans. We all cover Conventional, VA, FHA & DSCR loans; but we have specific people that cover Reverse Mortgages, ITIN, Foreign Nationals, P&L and Bank Statement loans as well as Construction loans. I believe what sets us apart is how much we care about our clients, and everyone involved in the process of homebuying. We put ourselves in the shoes of the buyer, seller, agents and builders. We understand what is at stake and treat everyone with respect and transparency, basically how we want to be treated.
We are here to help you, and we often are ready to close your loan in 2 weeks.
We have never had a loan not close once it was put into processing and underwriting, we have had a few that were rough, but we always get it done!
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I love our city! Houston is my favorite city! I will never leave; I have traveled around the world and lived all over Texas and I can truly say there is NO other city as great as Houston. There are many things that make us the best city to live in or move to, but the #1 reason I love Houston is the PEOPLE! Houstonians are real people that care and are helpful, supportive if you are starting a business, nice and friendly. I also Love our Food, diversity and weather.
What I like least is probably obvious – our famous TRAFFIC, lol!
