Today we’d like to introduce you to Hervinia (Hervi) Munoz.
Hi Hervinia (Hervi), so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’m originally from Maturín, Monagas, Venezuela. I earned my degree in Petroleum Engineering, and like many immigrants, moving to the United States meant starting over in many ways. Those years were filled with learning, adapting, and growing, always holding on to the hope of building a better future.
After spending a couple of years working in the corporate world, life led me to rethink my future. I decided to pursue professional training in the beauty industry, and after years of dedication and continuous learning, I founded Hervi Munoz Brow & Beauty—a business built from my dream of creating something of my own while helping other women feel more confident in themselves.
A few years later, our family faced one of the most difficult seasons of our lives. My daughter, Julieta, underwent chemotherapy for a year. It was a season that tested our faith, but it also allowed us to experience God’s love and faithfulness in ways we never could have imagined.
Looking back today, I can see that every stage of my journey had a purpose. I never imagined that a petroleum engineer would find her calling in the beauty industry, but now I can clearly see how God was guiding every step along the way.
That journey also transformed the way I see my profession. I want every person who walks into my studio to feel seen, valued, and to leave with more confidence than when they arrived. To me, beauty has never been just about appearance—it is about helping people recognize the value and confidence they already have within themselves.
If sharing my story encourages even one person to keep moving forward through life’s challenges, then every step of my journey has been worth it.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been an easy journey. Like many immigrants, I had to start over, adapt to a new country, and build a career in a completely different industry from the one I originally studied.
Building my business came with its own challenges. Earning my clients’ trust, continuing to invest in my education, and growing my business required patience, consistency, and a lot of hard work.
A few years later, our family faced one of the most difficult seasons of our lives when my daughter, Julieta, underwent chemotherapy for a year. That experience strengthened my faith, taught me to appreciate every small victory, and reminded me never to take a single day for granted.
Today, I see every challenge as an opportunity to grow. Each experience has made me stronger, more grateful, and even more committed to serving others through my work. I believe that every challenge has shaped not only the person I am today, but also the way I care for every client who walks through my door.

I specialize in eyebrow design, brow lamination, and other beauty treatments focused on enhancing each client’s natural features in a subtle and harmonious way. What sets my work apart is that every service is fully personalized. I take the time to listen to each client, understand their goals, and create results that reflect who they are.
I strongly believe that learning never stops. That’s why I continuously invest in education to offer the latest techniques and the safest services. In addition to working with my clients, I also enjoy sharing my knowledge through personalized training, helping other women grow professionally in the beauty industry.
More than providing a beauty service, my greatest satisfaction is seeing each client leave my studio feeling more confident, valued, and happy with themselves. That is the essence of Hervi Munoz Brow & Beauty.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
One thing that often surprises people is that I have a degree in Petroleum Engineering. Many assume I’ve always worked in the beauty industry, but my professional journey began in a completely different field. I’m very detail-oriented and strongly believe that learning never stops, which is why I continuously invest in my education to provide the best possible results for my clients. Today, one of my greatest joys is sharing my knowledge and helping other women grow professionally in this industry.
