Hi Jake, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
As a finance major at SHSU, there was no way I’d be anything in life but a stockbroker. This quickly changed the day I discovered that computers weren’t all that hard to fix. Lightening took out my computer when durning one of those cold front storms Texas is know for. The only pc repair shop back in the 90s was an outfit known as CompUSA. I spoke to the repair tech at CompUSA, I became distraught as he informed me that they would have to send off my pc. I knew enough that it was the modem because I couldn’t reach AOL nor did I hear the “You got Mail” chime. The tech said they would have to send it off. I didn’t have time for that so I ask where I could find a new one.
I followed his directions as they took me past some parts. I saw a part that said plug and play modem. That can’t be hard to do, I thought. I bought the part went home and changed it out. 5 mins, I was back in business. My love for computers and for technology started that day.
20 years later, Just Geek IT Solutions covers every aspect of the technology. We build custom computers, we build servers, design websites, SEO, and offer yearly services contracts.

Technology is a daily changing field. We are constantly learning and discovering new things. Finding good employees is an issue at times.
