Hidden Gems: Meet Jasmine Adams of Foundation Beauty LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Adams.

Jasmine, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My journey with Foundation Beauty started from a very personal place. I’ve always been passionate about skincare, but my struggle with eczema—and later seeing my children experience it too—pushed me to truly understand what I was putting on my skin. Like many people, I used products that covered up issues instead of actually helping them, and I knew there had to be a better way.

That’s when I began creating my own products at home. I spent time researching and learning what ingredients actually nourish the skin—especially for sensitive, eczema-prone skin like mine and my family’s. What started as something I did for myself quickly grew when friends and family began noticing the difference and asking for products of their own.

Foundation Beauty was built on the idea that the start to anything beautiful begins with a solid foundation. I wanted to create products that don’t just sit on the surface, but actually support healthy, confident skin from within.

Today, I’ve grown from making small batches at home to building a brand rooted in self-care, confidence, and real results. I’m proud to share what started as a personal journey with others—especially those who are struggling with their skin like I once did.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Like anything meaningful, this journey has come with a lot of trial, error, and learning along the way. I’ve gone through plenty of failed formulas, wasted products, and moments where I invested time and money into something that didn’t turn out the way I expected.

But I’ve learned to see those moments as part of the process, not setbacks. Each mistake taught me something valuable—whether it was about ingredients, formulation, or running a business. I’m still learning every day, but I can confidently say I’m growing and getting better with each step.

Building Foundation Beauty has required patience, consistency, and resilience. And while the road hasn’t been easy, every challenge has helped shape the brand into what it is today.

As you know, we’re big fans of Foundation Beauty LLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Foundation Beauty is a handcrafted skincare brand focused on creating gentle, effective products that support healthy skin from the foundation up. While my journey began with eczema—and that’s a key area I understand deeply—my brand is designed for all skin types. I create soaps, body butters, body washes, scrubs, oils, and more—each intentionally crafted to nourish, restore, and enhance the skin, no matter where you are in your skincare journey.

What sets Foundation Beauty apart is that everything is created with real experience behind it. These aren’t just products made to look good—they’re made from a place of understanding what it feels like to struggle with your skin. Every formula is intentional, carefully tested, and created to be both effective and gentle.

We’re known for combining quality with a luxury self-care experience. From the way the products feel on your skin to the scents and overall presentation, everything is designed to make you feel confident, cared for, and elevated.

What I’m most proud of is building a brand that people can trust. Seeing customers come back, share their experiences, and feel more confident in their skin means everything to me. It shows that Foundation Beauty is more than just skincare—it’s about confidence, self-care, and real results.

I want readers to know that Foundation Beauty is rooted in purpose. Every product is made with intention, passion, and a genuine desire to create something that works—not just for me, but for anyone looking to take better care of their skin.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I see the skincare industry becoming more intentional and educated over the next 5–10 years. People are paying closer attention to ingredients and choosing products that are gentle, effective, and actually support skin health—especially for sensitive skin.

There’s also a shift toward simplicity. Instead of complicated routines, consumers want products that work and fit easily into their daily lives. At the same time, personalization is growing, with people looking for solutions tailored to their specific skin needs.

Overall, the focus is moving from just appearance to long-term skin health. I believe brands that prioritize quality, transparency, and real results will continue to stand out.
