Hi Jazzlynn, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’ve been doing hair as a licensed cosmetologist for about 8 years now. As a stylist, I always looked for ways to improve. I’m constantly finding ways to get better. Today, I am a stylist who provides over 100 different services, quality extensions, tools, and education for stylists.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My journey has not been easy. I’m very hard on myself and I don’t give myself breaks as I should. I am working on this. In this day, everyone wants their business to appeal as “perfect”. While trying to meet the demand and provide quality it can get really expensive and stressful.
We’ve been impressed with The Pink Room, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am the owner of The Pink Room, which is a full-service salon providing luxury extensions and educational tools for stylists. Our best selling product would be the raw hair tape-in. This luxury hair could never fail you. It delivers a very polished look. Unlike most hair companies, a variety is there. The raw hair tape-ins have a stock of 5 different shades. That number is continuing to grow. On custom orders, we can offer up to 40 different shades. The hair is durable and high in density. Typically just two bundles are all you need.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
I am blessed to have such good clients and customers. I’m fortunate to have positive clients that bring in good energy. They keep me going and motivate me to want to learn new things. I like the best for my clients and customers. I’m always looking for ways to provide new services and get educated on new products. I appreciate all of the support from my clients and customers!
