Hidden Gems: Meet Kaci Hendrix of Hendrix Media Co.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kaci Hendrix.

Hi Kaci, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My marketing career started with me running my own lifestyle/fashion blog back in 2017, where I grew a passion in social media and marketing. From there, I worked in the marketing department of a large restaurant/hospitality group based in Houston where I worked on several major marketing campaigns. Then I was the marketing director for a local real estate firm for over 2 years. Once I had my first child in 2021, I decided I was ready to venture off on my own and start Hendrix Media Co. and social media management company to serve local businesses. I have worked with several local businesses helping each of them with their social media strategy, content editing, graphic design, and more. Since 2021 I have had the pleasure to work with over 20 different businesses spanning across multiple industries.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not always been smooth, when you are just starting out in a business it is hard to get your first clients, I was lucky enough to have a good friend in the industry who was able to help me get my first clients.. from there, I was able to build up a portfolio to be able to expand my client base.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a social media manager and I help other small business owners create a social media strategy that works for them. I also create unique content for every brand I work for, whether it is graphics, photos, or videos, I always aim to create on-brand, current content that will keep my clients’ social media pages fresh and engaging. I take pride in my ability to create a brand aesthetic on social media that is not only on-brand but also on trend. My business operates very smoothly, making it easy for my clients to see what posts are going out, make edits as needed, and sit back and let me do all of the content creating and posting for them. My main goal is to take social media completely off of their to-do lists if they want. Some clients choose to collaborate on content, which is also amazing.

What are your plans for the future?
I plan to continue building Hendrix Media, Co. Social media marketing is not going anywhere any time soon and the sooner small businesses really take their social media seriously, the better for them in the long run. I will continue to be here to provide excellent services to make their marketing run smoother!
